Well, the dust has settled and we have some winners!

I want to give a big thanks out to Battle Foam for choosing Dakka to help them introduce their new miniature bags to the community.

I think the sheer number of entries for this contest speaks volumes on how well their product has been received and how excited everyone who entered was, not only to win a fantastic new miniature carrying bag, but also to have their idea forever emblazoned on a gaming accessory that their fellow gamers will be using for years to come!

I mean, when you think about it, you can't really win a cooler prize than that!

But enough of my gushing, I'm going to turn it over now to Romeo from Battle Foam to announce the winners:

Congratulations to everyone that entered the Battle Foam 'Name Our Bags' Contest. After reading over more than 600 entries we finally picked our winners. I have to admit that each and every entry had a chance at winning. When we came up with the contest we had no real direction or idea what the final names would be. One thing that we realized early on was we liked the numbered idea. Having some kind of numbering in the name will help future growth of the bag line, and help quickly sort out what bag does what.

So, here are your winners and their prizes. Please be advised that the winners will receive a private message (PM) from yakface with detail on how to claim your prize. Please feel free to contact us directly if you have questions.

Once again, we could not of done this without your support. Myself and everyone at Battle Foam thank each and every one of you for your time and effort in our contest. We look forward to helping you with your custom foam needs in the future.

Sincerely,

Romeo (aka Sgt Diablo)

If those are the two prices for the bags...then ouch. That is a bit higher then I was thinking they were going to be. Was thinking they might be a bit more price competitive. I have two peices of their foam and I love it. Unless those prices include custom cuts.

Edit: Though I also hope I'm really wrong about this. Take the small bag and then take the 72 troop tray(1 inch foam) that is exactly 6 pieces of foam. Unless I am wrong and I really hope I am that is a 6inch bag for 150 dollars.

Thanks for being the straight man in the double act by feeding me the set-up, Aunshova.

Though it could have worked the other way and won you some bags with a decent tag-line to go with your entry.

Oh and Congrats Go-Fenris. I guess persistence really does win the race.

Update: I talked to Sgt. Diablo today about the bags and he explained to me some of the details regarding them. They sound really great and versatile beyond what I had expected (or is shown in the mock-ups). I think everyone will be impressed with their design and usability. From Sgt. Diablo's enthusiasm (which is quite infectious) and the things he explained I am even more excited than before. These products are definitely designed by gamers for gamers and I think most will agree that Battle Foam is putting together a superior product.

Which, while being cool and in all fairness a great thing, doesn't mitigate the price. i would love ot buy one, but on a student budget, i think i'll wait. (no offense to battle foam, i can't wait to buy one...i'm kinda "foaming" at the mouth....)

    I collect:

    Grand alliance death (whole alliance)

    Stormcast eternals

Slaves to Darkness - currently Nurgle but may expand to undivided.
