I've been glancing at this forum for months but this contest actually gave me the push to go ahead and register. . .

I spend all day at work badgering people into buying awesome (if expensive) stuff, so you should, um, totally listen to my suggestion -


This name has been rattling around in my head for a few hours, say it to yourself a few times and you'll agree it has a nice rhythm:

"The Big Bad Battle Bag"

I feel like for the big case, a "the" will be necessary to give it the kind of "oomph" it deserves. "I'm getting the big bad battle bag"

I like the suggestions of names of military formations for the bags, but those are just a little too reminiscent of that other foam company. . .

No offense meant, of course!

Just to shamelessly plug my suggestions one more time (and because I wanted to add explainations for the names without editing):

BIG TRANSPORT:
Dreadnaught - Ok, most names have mega, big, large, etc... But everyone KNOWS a Dreadnaught's huge. And they pack a TON of fire power. Even the name suggests the emotion you should be fealing when you see your oponent walk in with this transport: Dread.

Superfortress - How do you say big without saying 'big'? Reference one of the largest planes to ever take flight. Not to mention a heavy bomber that droped nukes. Why name your pack after an atomic bomb when you can name it after the vessel that droped them?

Dragon - No mythical being inspires awe and fear or oozes pure power like a dragon. And that's exactly what your large transport does. Inspires awe, fear... And promises to contain a hell of a lot of power.

Intimidator - Does this need any explaining? This pack is the world's best intimidation weapon. Slipping this thing off your shoulder and unzipping it would make lesser men wet themselves.

SMALL TRANSPORT:
Iron Sides - Is this transport tougher than its competitor? You bet your arse it's tougher. Nothing says reinforced construction and protection in an age of polyester and nylon like the name Iron Sides.

B-52 - While not as big as a Superfortress, a B-52 is still a mammoth. And it definately still drops bombs on your enemies. (also fits the 'Superfortress'/Plane theme)

Drake - Small, tenacious, fast, and still tough-as-nails. Drakes may not always be feared, but they correct that mistake soon enough.

Interrogator - Put your opponent to the screws with whatever you bring in this transport. It's smaller than the Intimidator, but it still has ways of making you talk.

I have a few ideas:

big one should be called the BODY BAG because it's huge looking! Keeping with the corpse theme the smaller could be the HEAD CASE.

Or going with a more war-centric theme call the smaller transport Little Boy and the larger one Fat Man.


As the larger one would probably transport an entire army A-Bomb would also be a good name for it (A as in ARMY)
The smaller could be the H-Bomb. (I have no reason behind this besides the fact that the larger is the A-Bomb.)

well, I'm tapped for ideas now.

Hey guys! Hey! How about we call the big one Fat Man, and the little one Little Boy, LOL!!!!1!!2!!1 'Cause like, the big one is fat, and the little one is....little!

If nothing else, this thread has drummed up a huge amount of word of mouth for Battlefoam.

They are getting their moneys worth by giving two bags away, thats for certain.

Its a shame that most people in this thread failed to read the entire first post.

Atleast 50% of each page is filled with suggested names that are intellectual property of another company, and thus simply spam.

Large case: "Steve."

Small case: "Eddie."

Why not? Make people think there is a reason behind the name.

But in all seriousness for the names:
