I am considering a chaos army of possibly 2 flavors. I want to build a pair of Demon princes. Probably 2 Slanesh and 2 Nurgle, probably both that fly, but not necesarily.

What do you have/have you seen done for this? I was searching all sorts of mini manufacturers for 54mm scale minis for this purpose. Anyone have any suggestions?

A head swap from a spawn would help hide its origins but it's a great model. And has an optional lash for your slanneshi prince.

For nurgle the new plastic LotR ogre/troll would work, he's big, fat and plastic.

Spawn are another good starting point.

People have been posting mostly examples of Slaanesh and Nurgle DP models, any good finds for a Tzeentch-y model?

I used the inquisitor scale death cult assassins for my Slaanesh princesses:




I'm currently working on a couple of Tzeentch princes based on Tomb King Ushtabi.


I saw, at Adepticon this last weekend, a really nice nurgle one based on the Ogre Butcher.

The LoTR trolls are the right size, and the plastic one has many options. I used a metal one I got from the bay of e.

@ Kid Kyoto: totally forgot about that, I like that also. I wondered if a grim reaper/death/nightbringer type model might make a better Demon Prince for nurgle than a "misc fat demon". I have never been a fan of the Fat Demon look nurgle has. I liked Mortarion from the old days as a reaper better...

@ AshAxe: WOW superb work those are really first class! I am very impressed, I like your lash on the slaneshi one! ...but, I didn't want to do the GW Giant Space Marine with dragon wings. Your example is certainly superior, but that concept is very common.
