Thanks for the offer! The sheet I'd need is this one - IMPERIAL GUARD TANK TRANSFER.

They used to come in all the IG tank boxes (my sheet is years old) but I'm not sure they do anymore. Specifically, I'm looking for the white stencil numbers. Thing is, in order to do the whole army I think I'd need 10-12 sheets!! So, on the rare chance that you DO have a metric assload of them, I'd be happy to swap you some bits for - have a look at my sig for my swap thread...

If not, I'll continue with the roman numerals, which are growing on me now they're on a few vehicles.

butchyboy73 wrote:like the riot shield, must've been a bit o' work to produce that Also, really like how "busy" your Rhino's look. Great stuff!!

Thanks - yup, that was a bit of a fiddly job, but not too bad. I think I have two more to make as well. One more Repressor and a battered Immolator need hiding! Here's the finished piece mounted on the repainted Repressor.

I'm sitting on a stack of 15 of those sheets. Two rows of white stenciled numbers, 1 through 0.

PM me an address, and how many rows you need.

I hate to ask, but how big is a metric assload in Imperial?

1.46 Imperial fudgetons.

Also, ArbitorIan, hope to catch you @ G3 this week.

I thought it was 2.2 Imperial Fudgetons?

^ Clearly, you are unaware of the heaviness of our economy. The Imperial Fudgeton has increased in relative value to its metric counterpart. Duh.

@Ian: missed the riot shield in situ - nice, reminds me of one of the old VASA tanks from i-Kore (I forget which).

Thanks very much!

-------------

I've just got back into Glasgow with two of the Imperial Tank Transfers from some Chimera sets I got from Dysartes at the weekend. Should be enough for me to re-transfer the three vehicles I currently have painted, so I'll get that done tonight and post some pictures in the morning.

Then I'll wait for the rest from Brian to start re-transerring the rest of the vehicles/Sentinels/bikes, and start on the Chimeras after that!!

Thanks guys! Dakkanaut power!

Quick question, how did you get all those shields? Plasticard or what?

Awesome stuff, I've always had a soft spot for the Arbites. Which reminds me I must see about doing some for my Necromunda campaign.

Anyway looking forward to seeing more.

You mean the shields that come on the Suppression troops? They're mostly the ones from the Necromunda Enforcers set - each box of 8 Enforcers has two shields in it, and I have a few boxes! However, I did press-mold some of them using Insta-mold, just in case I need more in the future.

---------

Here's the vehicles re-numbered with all of my remaining stencils and with detail painted.

Exorcist 019

Castigator 266

Repressor 384

The Repressor has some manacles at the back for attaching prisoners

And all the vehicles have the Imperial Eagle on the back

A coat of Matt Varnish should dull down the reflection on those decals, but that will have to wait until I get back to London...

Thanks guys. Yup, I'm liking the blue - it's not too bright but makes the otherwise quite dull colour 'pop' a bit more. Now to copy this to all the bikes, sentinels and chimeras!

Yeah, I've never liked the look of those as cables. The top section is the top of a spare searchlight.

Thanks - I'll start properly on the Chimeras when I'm back in London, but for now the transfer sheets have got me through the vehicles so far. I think I can get another Immolater/Exorcist combo out of them..

Bah! I hate these guys/robotic hounds of death!! They spoiled my game plan (yeah, I did have one Ian, honestly ) that's twice they've put paid to my Raven Guard that aside, once again thanks for a great game, felt that I aquitted myself a bit better that time. And somehow it doesn't hurt so much to get beaten by such a well modelled and painted army....nah, who'm I trying to kid!!
