As I found a random spare Predator turret in my "Pile 'o Sprues" (tm) I decided to whomp up a spare Executioner turret for my Chimedatorusses for fun (and, potentially, FOR CADIA!). Taking inspiration from this inspired piece of modelling devilry I decided that I could use the same turret to try out a Punisher class machine as well. Now my Punisher bits have yet to arrive but I thought I would share my Executioner Turret progress.

I was most satisfied to find that when you trim down 2 Marine Plasma Cannon you can get the main barrel holes to line up damn near perfectly with the twin lascannon mount on the Predator turret. This made me happy.

Main armament and rear ammo box thingy are all magnetized to allow hot swapping to occur... although probably not during a game, as amusingly confusing as that may be

Probably somewhere I shouldn't be

Looks great so far! My only comment is it looks a tad too front-heavy for my taste, maybe bulk up where the gun meets the turret?

Very tidy!

I like, may also steal if that's ok with you? Is there anyway of putting tubes to the fuel cell inputs rather than using the small canisters or would that look too untidy wih the turret design being pretty enclosed?

I'm coming to get you

I still need to put some GS in where the plasma cannon meets the turret, that should bulk it out a bit.

My thoughts exactly (also I am lacking skills and inspiration for ultra intricate work )

Steal away Its not like I could stop you anyway...

I thought about putting wires and cables on the thing, but I might just leave it as is. I'd rather not get this far only to wreck it with too much stuffs.

I like the looks mate, the Chimera body is closer to what I think most tanks should look like an how, as they have a center of gravity closer to the ground.

I like the punisher. Very effective and sexy kit-bash work.

The other with the two plasma cannons looks front heavy/clunky and comes off as too "tauish" for my liking ( and looks like two plasma cannons laying on sides) though. Sorry.

Very nice punisher! Much better than the GW model at any rate!

Wow!

Awesome conversions!

Your version of the Executioner especially as it looks as if it could spit out multiple shots...
