Aloha and welcome to the first of many installments of time lapse battles done by my new buddy Dave at out local gamer club. We are taking a break from our international campaign with Panic and crew but when we return we hope to use the same format.

Dave set up a camera and mounted it to a rafter on the ceiling which took a picture every 20 seconds. Now before you click the link on youtube, I would advise you read the army lists and my very short summery, as once it gets going, it is pretty frenetic. And a quick shout out to Dave, man you did a killer job!

Points, 2000. Set up: Pitched Battle. Mission: Annihilation.

Sousou (Freshy) is playing my Orks and Dave is playing his Marines. I was the guy with the Tau shirt and I was just there to move Orks

Big Mek with Shock Attck Gun and 'Eavy Armor, Boss pole

The Game:

Well, the camera will speak for itself, but in short, Dave played a very good and defensive game while Sousou rolled poorly on his run moves. Sousou was saved by his speed freaks moving in when and where he wanted them while his Shock Attack Gun was either missing or killing his own Bikers. The Warphead was busy trying to work up a "'Ere we Go" to no avail while the Speedfreaks stole the show. The game ended with Dave starting to pull his Kill Point total back up but just not enough before a 2 was rolled at the end of the 5th turn.

The final score: Marines 5, Orks 9.

At about 1:10 the orks assaulted on the right side of the board that must have been alot of dice I can only have about 10 dice without rolling horrible

nice game. imo i perfer a report with words and pictures would be more enjoyable rather than a fast-forward brief youtube video report. im sorry to say.

Word on that! A new one from morehammer and it turns out, it's missing any tension. Reading a turn by turn report is much more entertaining
because of the thrill!

Hope to read an oldschool report again.

Question- How do you make that, is there a setting on your camera or do you record it then press fast foward?

I thought the stop motion video bit was pretty cool. Like I was there, but faster.

I am happy to say that I will be doing the turn by turn reports as normal on my next report AND I will be adding the time lapse at the end to tie it all together

Really its not just me then, I played on one once...I havent felt clean since.

I don't mind them when they're textured. The bare plastic, even if painted, just feels so wrong when models are sliding all over every incline.

morehammer, that was excellent. Always cool to see the green tide come pouring over enemy units. You can almost feel their desperation
