First post! Yay!

Anyways, I got the Apocolypse book a while back and read the rules for the warlord and thought I would try my hand at building one.
He took me about 3-4 weeks to build, working off and on when I had the time. It's made mostly of plasicard of varying thicknesses, some mdf/hardboard and other random stuff I had laying around. Total cost added up was like 10-12 bucks.
It stands twentytwo and a half inches tall. I know, I know that is maybe a bit short but I had to make it short for it to fit on my shelf.
As far as weapons go, on the right side its armed with and Apocolypse Missle launcher(shoulder) and a Gatling Blaster(arm). And on the left there is a Double-barreled Turbo Laser(shoulder) and a Quake cannon(arm). Now for the pics:

The Mini Tank in the last pic was another recent scratch build so I thought I throw it in there.

Well he isn't the most detailed Titan in the world but he gets the job done and is pretty fun to play with!

Anyways, that's it. Just thought I'd put it up and see what you guys thought.
Thanks fo looking,

Nate.

A thrifty warlord?! I love it, it looks similar to one of those gaint robots from a 50's movie.

The tank looks ace too

Guardsman Tom, you are hereby given a field promotion to Sergeant for your excellent procurement of enemy information.
You have supplied your commanders with intel that will allow us to dominate the latest threats from our enemies.
Congratulations, your command takes effect immediately..

Fantastic, I could see it marching down the field causing havoc.

My only suggestion: Moar Rivets! Get a hole punch and some thin plasticard or thick paper and go to town.

tank is awesome, please send me a PM as for the construction progress, i am also focused on similar project...

titan... wow, in such a scale and still keeping proportions... you are a good engineer, sir!

I Love how it's basic, yet functional. The faded paintjob looks good on it too. The only two things that I find off would be the pose (too static - straight legs don't work well on a titan) and the lack of the centre toes between the corner ones (Makes the feet look larger and more proportionate with them)

Other than that this is a good looking unit

It is awesome.

I agree with the idea of extra front toes and a slight reposition of the legs, but it is not essential.

I can't believe that tank is a scratch build.

Though guards may sleep and ships may lay at anchor, our foes know full well that big guns never tire.

Hey thanks for the comments, guys!

Eventually I would liket to build a more advanced (hopefully more dramaticaly posed!) Titan in the future.
The rivets and extra toes are a great idea. I will definately have to do that on the next attempt.
And I agree that the weapons are a bit on the smallish side. I thought that as soon as I put them on. I just didn't want to take the time to build others so I figured I'd just go with it .

Wow, nice job! I find it funny that a warhound is like $200, but a warlord is $12.

Congratulations, your dismissive and conclusory commentary has provided nothing to this discussion or the wider community on whose behalf you arrogantly presume to speak nor does it engage in any meaningful way the remark it lamely targets. But you did manage to gain experience points toward your next level of internet tough guy.
