Use Catchecan torsos and arms to make barechested Space Wolves. I think this would show how wild and barbaric they are in a humorous manner.

Four scholars at Oxford were making their way down the street, and happened to see a group of ladies of the evening. “What’s this?” said the first. “A jam of tarts?” “Nay,” said the second, “an essay of Trollope’s.” “Rather, a flourish of strumpets,” advanced the third. “No, gentlemen,” concluded the last. “Here we have an anthology of pros.”

But the scale would be all wrong. Spezz Mehrineeeeees are supposed to be 8ft tall killing machines, gluing IG chests onto their legs will look wrong. It could maybe work if you made the torsos 'truescale'? But that would involve alot of work....

Good thing a Catachan's arm is as large as a power-armored arm! You forget that the Catachans are a hardy people, warring in Burma-err... Catachan, where the wrestling there-err... high gravity results in their disturbingly large muscles.

But seriously, compare the two arms. Plus, most if not all of the torsos in the squad box should fit on the legs, you'd just have to flatten the hump down.

Lone Wolves are the sole survivors of their packs, preparing for a glorious death i battle - I see no reason for them to take their armour off. (Getting half-naked might however make some sense for Mark of the Wulfen who are turning feral.)

I can definitely see a Lone Wolf doing something to symbolically mark himself in preparation for his final battle, e.g. repainting part of his armour (just as BA Death Company do). Maybe painting a bloody red claw on his shoulder pads and painting his gloves blood red?

How about modelling a leather jacket with "Lone Wolf" stitched on the back ??

OK, sorry, I know that doesn't contribute to the discussion at hand but I couldn't resist. What if "Lone Wolf" were stitched onto his cloak ??

Model one of those flat-billed hats you see the people wear who are ghetto (and the white tagalongs who aren't) and then in gold write Lone Wolf.

I'd pay money to see that.

You could spell out "survivor" or "the last" or some other cool moniker in norse runes on his armor. It would fit with the viking theme, and it would be cool.

I don't know if you have ever put a space marine next to a guard model...what can you see?the puppy is about 1.something mm taller and a bit bulkier...thats it, so it wouldn't make a difference!

#1 The models aren't truescale anyways, so I say go for it.
#2 The models are in armor, so it would only be natural for a bare-chested Lonewolf to be "slightly" smaller than their power armoured brethren.
#3 As long as you're having fun, convert it up whatever way you think looks cool!

Of course, as an American, that means I must say that soccer sucks, and football (real football... you know, the one where you do everything with your hands) is 10,000 times as good. I mean, football players could probably beat up soccer players, even, because they actually know sports.

I'd imagine an honor-bound and suicidal individual would be bristling with mementos of his fallen pack. Give him extra armor plates, ruined bolters, reliquaries- anything to demonstrate that he is fighting for the honor of his fallen comrades. Or, if you happen to be using the SW codex to stand in for ANGRY MARINES!!! then just paint them black. The Black Brothers are the natural choices for this role.
