Brilliant action shots. The knight and murderfang looks great together ("They grow up so fast!").
Amazing actions shots too

Love that quote. From anywhere or is it yours? I may have to put that on the model itself.

Started on Cabinet #2. This one is for the Chaos Wolves. Going to try for a ruined city theme.
You can see the the planning drawing below. The whole army entails:
-2 Wolf Lords on Thunderwolves (Giant Mortarchs to separate them from normal Thunderwolves)
-7 Thunderwolves
-2 Iron Priests on Thunderwolves
-8 Cyberwolves
-20 Fenrisian Wolves
-6 Wolfguard Bikers
-Murderfang
-Drop Pod
-Landraider Crusader
-Imperial Knight
-5 Wulfen

Made some progress yesterday and this morning. The bottom shelf will hold the 6 Wolf Guard Bikers and 16 Fenrisian Wolves. Got the TableWar trays and glued in and just finished spackling around everything. Once that dries, I'll add plasticard tiles, bits, and sand.
Of all the lessons learned while making the first cabinet (for the Wild Crusade), perhaps the most important was how much easier it would be to do work on each level by itself. Finish the whole thing before putting up the next shelf.

Took a break from the Chaos Wolves cabinet and returned to Orks for a bit. Specifically, started on a Ghazghkull conversion. As a base, I'm using the new Orruk Warboss model from the Age of Sigmar. It's just a sweet looking (and MASSIVE!) model!

Thanks, STG. Made some progress on him. Even after finishing up all the armor joints and mechanical bits, he still looked a bit short. I wanted this Ghaz model to be GHAZ! A GIANT FREAKING ORK!
Plus, when taken in the Ork-curion detachment, Ghaz can call a Waagh each and every turn so I wanted something to capture that on the model itself. Thus, A GIANT FREAKING WAAGH BANNER! Orks across the entire battlefield become fearless when they see Ghaz charging with his giant banner aflame.

Thanks, STG.
Also been working on a Battlewagon. The goal is to field a total of 5 of these bad boys for the Blitz Brigade Formation. You've all already seen the first one, which is a Pirate Ship. I plan to keep them all as boat themes to be an Ork Navy Fleet of sorts.
BW# 1- Pirate Ship
BW# 2- Riverboat
BW# 3- Battleship
BW# 4- Aircraft Carrier
BW#5- ????
Ideas for the fifth would be welcome!

It's been a while but I got the Ork Riverboat all primed up. Take a look! It's amazing how a layer of paint can pull it all together. Starting to take shape...

Last--and certainly not least--is the first Battlewagon: the Pirate Ship. He's getting close to being done. Need to add a kannon and Ork Boy krew. And of course, paint up the sails with Orky glyphs and whatnot.
Please let me know what you think!

Have you come up with any ideas for the 5th one yet? I think an all terrain submarine would be pretty cool! maybe with a big drill like a termite so it can stay submerged in land too

This is truly exceptional work, all throughout this thread.
Perhaps the fifth ship could be an Ork submarine like structure? Maybe with a drill on the front instead though, and tracks layering the whole bottom?

Darn fine conversion work. I love how they're clearly still battle wagons, but you've customized them so much that they've become wholly unique builds. More pics, please!

I'm on it, Cleatus. In fact, I think some army shots are long overdue. I'll try to pull everything out this weekend to take some "State of the Army" shots.
