New update, "xenomorph" resin heads are now on the site for pre-order, will be shipping out Monday, February 22nd.

You can get them here.

OK the New "Ymargl" heads are up on the site - Ymargl Head bits

I wanted to give you all an update on our new and upcoming 28mm conversion bits.

Firstly, we have 2 new shields available for sale for $2.00 each on the website.

The much anticipated Celtic shield, it is 28mm scale, its less bulky then our previouse shields so best suited for regular power armor. It is lightweight white metal and comes with a seperate spiked knuckle guard.

The second new shield release is perfect for all you Space Wolf players out there. Its a Techno Wolf Storm Shield (good size for terminator armor).

Also up, is a new Generic Hammer, also in 28mm scale. Does great things for fantasy or sci-fi conversions. This is available for $1.50.

I have also updated the Fleshtearer - sawblade and jewel shoulder pad photos:

Lastly some news on the upcoming Ymargl Genestealer heads and Xenomorph Gaunt heads.
These are being molded this week. Our price point for the Ymargl Genestealer heads will most likely be $6.00 for a sprue of 6 white metal heads (3 different bits). The Xenomorph heads are going to be $6.50 per sprue of 6 resin heads (2 different bits).

The reason we went metal on the Ymargls is that they have some slender parts that wont survive resin casting, they also have a nob to allow easy glueing to the bodies. The Xenomorph heads have no pertrusions for glueing so need to be resin in order to be usable.

These will be on the site next week and if you are interested in preordering feel free to email me at nick@chapterhousestudios.com.

The Jetbike Seer Council kit

This kit has been completed by the sculptor and is in transit to me for final approval. Once it arrives and passes quality check it will be molded in resin (and maybe pewter). This is a complete kit with arms, legs, torsos, heads, weapon options and bike accessories. All you would want is the Jetbike model to add to this. There will be a Warlock and a Farseer kit to choose from. They will have options for a sword or spear.

Estimatated time for this kit to hit production is 2-3 weeks. I want the price to be in the $14-17.00 price range.

Boneswords and Lashwhips

These are being sculpted this week, and will be molding in 2-3 weeks. Price point is 2-4$ a set (pewter).

I dont think I forgot anything so enjoy!

I would personally prefer to have the lash whips and bone swords in plastic or resin. Metal is too much trouble to deal with.

hey man, awesome news!

re: bone swords and lash whips... most importantly will you be having both hands done? eg: the swarmlord needs both left and right handed swords... will these be available through you?

same for lash whips... just because always having left handed whips can be boring.

and will we be able to see the ymgarl heads before we commit to buy? I'm interested in probably two sets, but I don't want to make that purchase without knowing what I'll be getting.

that said, you'll probably post with them when they're avail... so i just won't preorder

and the hammers are grrrreat! love those. do DA hammers! and other DA bits!

Thanks for the update - I was just looking for Jetbike conversion kit news.

I suspect that the lash whips are far too delicate in resin.

Unfortunately, unless you are a rather large company with lots of capital, plastic is out of the question.

I dont think whip thin bits that the Lashwhips will most likely be will work in resin (snap if you touch them).

Nice Seer Council bits. Makes me tempted to build up the 500pts of Eldar I have.

Good to hear the Nid bits are right around the corner.

Wow, I didn't expect the Farseer/Warlock to be an entire piece. Very, very cool indeed.

No earth shattering, thought provoking quote. I'm just someone who was introduced to 40K in the late 80's and it's become a lifelong hobby.

Is the blood drop on the Flesh Tearer pad separate and needs to be 'assembled'? It's a clever way of getting around a CAD but I can already feel the headaches coming on if you misplace a droplet. :(

That said, awesome stuff as always.

You know, I've never had a problem with small Resin bits from DP9 snapping. in fact, I've had the exact opposite problem sometimes.

I don't work there any more, but if you want, I can find out what kind Phil uses and get back to you. Biggest issue with the stuff he uses is you need a vacuum chamber to minimize/eliminate bubbles, and to make sure your overflow channels are cut so it fills properly.

Yeah it really is not difficult at all though. Maybe a set of tweazers would help, but I have big hands

John,

It is more a shipping issue as well, I try to pack as much stuff as we can using Bubble envelopes and wrap. I have yet to hear of anything breaking with this method and it keeps the shipping pretty low for everyone. If we have to start boxing small bits due to resin breakage, then it becomes a nightmare for everyone. (I can ship anywhere pretty much anything for max of $12.50, cheapest is $5.00).

Chapterhouse why why why do you have to post such nice things. I don't even play eldar and I want that!!!!

Listen, my children, as I pass onto you the truth behind Willy Wonka and his factory. For every wonka bar ever created in existance, Mr. Wonka sacraficed a single Oompa Loompa to the god of chocolate, Hearshys. Then, he drank the blood of the fallen orange men because he fed them a constant supply of sugary chocolate so they all became diabetic and had creamy, sweet-tasting blood that willy could put into each and every Wonka bar. That is the REAL story behind willy wonka's Slaughter House!

The Imperium of Man is able to traverse the Warp with difficulty when their Emperor concentrates from his golden life support machine and lights the way. Unfortunately, because the Emperor has the attention span of the average 5-year-old Pokemon fanboy, this means that many an unfortunate Imperial ship has had the WTF WHERE'D THE LIGHTS GO experience, which in the Warp is invariably fatal.

I'm getting up on those banana heads for sure when they're out, and the other ones are sorely tempting as well.

We will be able to get the boneswords in pairs or one sword and a whip right? Please say yes.
As for the swarm lord, I just used the whip arm, cut off the whip and glue the sword in it's place. Works pretty good. (Yes, I had 4 extra sets to do the conversion from previous kits so everybody probably doesn't have that many extra).
Any news on the tervigon/tyrannofex sets?

We will have both arms for the swords, and maybe a monstrous and a warrior set (maybe!).

We will also have a whip, I cant promise both arms. Maybe we will do an arm able to fit on both sides.

Tervigon and Tyrannofex will be done, but the fastest and easiest bits (arms) will come first.

This is really getting fringe, I think but any possibility of alternate tails in metal for genestealers? IE, long ones with barbs, to go with the banana heads.
