Yes, it looks like a 25mm head on a 28mm body.

If you cut it down and set it into the socket better it might look more in proportion, but it does look a tad narrow...

Do you have a regular head to compare it to?

Yeah I got a few SM heads with and without helmets and a one cadian helm head and one without for comparisons..hate to waste the money I spent on picking the heads up...

Yes its very tiny compared to GW head ,
but their scale is way off in the first place.

I agree with Luna. I think it looks good. It actually looks correct unlike GW heads.

Flip the photo , compare it with a photo of a real person.

now look back to the mini.

Take a GW mini , place it next to a real person/

now look back . Does it look right? bet it doesnt.

Exactly right.

It is the right size for the scale and the armour but some people will see it as small because they are used to the special GW sized heads.

To flip that comment, you could say that all GW heads look too large.

It looks okay, like it might actually have a chance of fitting in one of the helmets. Unlike GW heads, which like everyone else has pointed out are too big.

The reason why SM sergeants don't wear helmets is that their heads have swollen too large from all of the shouting.

I personally think that the head is perfect as the Space Marine heads have helmets on which makes them look huge compared to the haed your using but it looks good.

It definitely looks smaller than the GW heads, but certainly more in-line with the GW artwork.

Makes the Marine look more 'true scale' I think.

Definitely keep it.

um space marines are geneticaly mutated/enhanced so if its a chick, she wouldnt be a huge tited phat hip space marine, they dont give birth they kill, so she looks like a tech marine, who could be cyborg like more machine than human

Indeed, I purchased mine through the Warstore as I ordered the termy legs and shoulder pads along with the heads. My vision of my kill team keeps shaping up. ^_^

It looks way better, in fact. SM heads are ginormous compared to even regular IG troops. I like it - run with it man, it makes the armour look much more imposing!

Edit: I agree in the part of making the necks shorter, it would look better, like the combimelta gal.

Better yet, instead of making the necks shorter, fill the hole where the heads go with Greenstuff, and then put them on.
