Well I am working (slowly) on my IG army and Just finished assembling my Leman Russ Battletank. Now I was wondering with what kind of paintscheme I should go. My infantry has Cadian Green clothes with Graveyard earth Armor.

I do not want the tank to have camo cause I'm sure I'll screw that up. So just plain green or plain Graveyard earth? Or could I pull of with something like the white tanks RUNE did? Here is a link to his blog wich I just found. I really like his use of colors but I'm not sure if it fits in with my guard.

Ahw well here are some pictures of my guard's color scheme.

Tank camo is pretty easy to pull off. Alternatively you could look up some WW2 Russian tank schemes for reference in an all-green look.

Please excuse any spelling errors. I use a tablet frequently and software keyboards are a pain!

Can I suggest Rustoleum Camo Green spray? Here's what it looks like:

The spray was used as a second basecoat over a black initial coat. I did some highlights and details, but otherwise the primer coat is unaltered.

Wooow Thank you both very much!

Flinty, as much as I like that scheme, I'l probably screw it up on my tank.

Ifurita, that thank lookes great! Exactly what I was searching for! Any idea where I can find that spray?

Thank you both!

Here's my LRMBT. Looks like we're using different hues of green. Mine is foundation green with green wash. I also have one in the standard cadian green and iyanden (spelling?) darksun camo scheme, and I'm telling you, it's very easy to achieve nice looking camo. Just trace the outlines of the camo with a pencil, paint in the big bits with a big brush, and do the edges with a smaller one. Almost any pattern of camo will work great.

As I was painting my camo, I thought the pattern looked too simple, and not really very good, but by the time I was done it had turned into perfectly believable camo. Just try, I promise it's not as hard as it looks.

Not sure what the equivalent brand would be in your country, but look in your local hardware/DIY store for any line of camouflage paints. You should be able to find green, tan, brown, and black.
