This here is a really really old website that I thought should be given a good look at, especially since we have so many people who like to delve into political discussion:

Essentially you answer a series of questions on where you stand on a topic, and then the machine gives you an X-Y graph wherein it rates where your political leanings are and for fun, you can compare where you stand to past and present historical leaders of the modern era.

For instance, this is the 2010 political compass of the UK 2010 parties based on their research of who is representing those parties:

So if you take the test, you too can tell where you lean! If you want, why not show us where your political affiliation is as well.

Alright, tried a little experiment:

I imagined I hated anything that went against authority, gave anything to anyone not a white landowning male, give anything out for free, support huge corporations and burn down entire ecosystems at a whim, and essentially went with capitalist, racist, xenophobic, bigoted answers and got this as a scale:

You pretty much have to borderline psychotic to get that score.

I find it amusing that everyone ends up green, despite the fact that the test's creators put almost every major party firmly in in the blue square. And Sweden's economic policy is considered right-wing.

It's almost like the test is written very badly...

I found myself disagreeing with the way the questions were worded, as if they were trying to manipulate me a bit. They were more than a little biased. It definitely impacted my answers.
