Subject: Blood Angel Dreads -- how to...?

Rotting Sorcerer of Nurgle

Howdy all,
so I'm starting to get back into warhammer after selling all my stuff to move and pay for some of my wedding. I'm going easy this time (last time I spent a good $2500 or so), and taking my time to pick and choose what to buy rather than splurging.
So my question here is I love the idea behind the new Blood Angel Furioso and Death Co. Dreads. My goal is to run 2 Dread Co. Dreads in drop pods + 1 Furioso Libby dread (maybe 2). My questions are as follows:
1. The furioso kit is metal... meaning limited means for customization. Which other kit would work just as well? I'm thinking a venerable, but does it come with 2 PF arms so I can mod one up?
2. I see on forgeworld they have the claw-like arms that look like the ones in the BA dex for Death Co. dreads. Are these the same? if so, which kit would work best to mod into death co. dreads?
3. Any ideas on how to modify a dread to a libby dread? forgeworld has no kits or arms or anything...
Thanks in advance!

I had it pointed out to me that the FW Grey Knight dreadnought has a psychic hood on it, but with all that Inquisitorial iconography on it I'd say it'd be a pain in the ass to convert into a librarian. Grimteef did a pretty nice-looking librarian furioso a while back ( here), using the new venerable dreadnought kit if I'm not mistaken, so you could look there for inspiration.
Speaking of which, if I may hijack this thread to ask my own question: what color would one paint a librarian furioso anyway? Since libbies usually have blue armor I was wondering if the dread would also be blue, but it's also a BA furioso, so...I just found it confusing.

Yeah that doesn't look librarian-y at all... I'm thinking of going with an ironclad and modifying one arm for my first one. I like the look where it looks like hes got a face mask of sorts.

For the Furioso's I'd pick up some ironclads and work from there since they have 2 close combat arms and they are plastic. What I'm in the process of doing.
For the Lib Dread the Hood from the GK dread would be sexy but if you don't wanna cut/file a FW model, the new Ven dread from Gw is prob a good starting place.
It looks like in the post they linked for the force wep it was the chain fist(from the Ironclad dread which your getting 2 of anyway for Furioso's) cleaned up and then with some plastic card for the sword. Witch doens't look to hard to do.
Yours doesn't have to be that bling, but with a little work you'll end up with a baller model. Be sure to post pics I wanna see what you do.

I was struck by the realization that right handed dreadnought ccw's are hard to find. I have one old metal Furioso and I'm making a mold to copy the arm in resin.
