These models seem so much more characterful than the original Necromunda Scavvies, Scalies, etc. As for the Nurgle Orks, WOW!!

You guys
But seriously thanks m8s, comments like that really warms your heart, its a great feeling that you know someone appreciates your models and i never thought the nurgle orks would get such great feedback and im glad you like the tophat to, in my opinion theres nothing cooler than a big ol`tophat.
I also have to thank ghostly for the nose idea, i think it turned out pretty well, though im not sure about the lamp, looks a bit to simple to me, but if anyone has any other ideas on what to with it that would be great since i really like the thought of him having a lamp
But anyhow on to the pictures
Lets start with the boss with his brand new nosejob
And the back solution on the scaly
And here are 2 new scavvies that im working on, still very wip though
Hope you like em

oh and how maleable is your GS? mines quite old, but im not very good at GSing. what additional tools do you use? and how on earth did you make a top hat!!!!!!!!!

Only good things can come from those two WiPs.
I noticed you were using Renegade Ogryns from FW for your Scalies. If you were ever to add to the gang, maybe try some plastic Ogryns? I don't know if you maybe prefer resin, but I'm guessing they're of a similar size and build.
Keep up the good work!

Wow, just wow.
It makes me proud to participate in this hobby.
Way to go and keep it up.
I am so far getting just getting into Necromunda.
I'm thinking of using kroot as a base for my conversions.

This is a little story about four people named Everybody, Somebody, Anybody, and Nobody.
There was an important job to be done and Everybody was sure that Somebody would do it.
Anybody could have done it, but Nobody did it.
Somebody got angry about that because it was Everybody's job.
Everybody thought that Anybody could do it, but Nobody realized that Everybody wouldn't do it.
It ended up that Everybody blamed Somebody when Nobody did what Anybody could have done.

Once again im at a loss of words from all the kind comments
And ghostly i have to thank you once again, without you i would have never thought of the idea to give him a big nose
Ok then on to some Q&A
is the 4 armed one a servitor of somekind (guessing fromt he necron arms)
oh and how maleable is your GS? mines quite old, but im not very good at GSing. what additional tools do you use? and how on earth did you make a top hat!!!!!!!!!
the 4 armed one wont have metallic arms, i will try to make them look fleshy with the hooks grafted into the flesh though thats tomorrow nights project. And when working with GS i always use a little more yellow when trying to do organic textures and more blue when making armor and clothing and such. And the tophat was actually quite simple to make, first i flatened a piece of greenstuff and stuck it to an orkhead that i had cut in half and let it dry. Then i rolled a barrel of greenstuff and used a clayshaper to give it the forms and details. My camera just died but as soon as i get home from work tomorrow ill take a picture on the sculpting tools i use
I noticed you were using Renegade Ogryns from FW for your Scalies. If you were ever to add to the gang, maybe try some plastic Ogryns? I don't know if you maybe prefer resin, but I'm guessing they're of a similar size and build.
I used the renegade ogryn cause of the mutated appearance of it to minimize sculpting plus it had a cooler pose than the regular ogres but im thinking about sculpting another one from the regular ones since i have some lying around.
Please tell me that last one is going to have a bowl of chips balanced on his gut.
Haha that is an awsome idea! and in one hand hes gonna hold a streetsign that says "no humans"
I'm thinking of using kroot as a base for my conversions.
mixing the krootkit and ghoul kit is an excellent choice if you are playing scavvies since booth had a ton of coollooking mutantbits and weapons so you go for it dude and let me know when you have posted some pics
On the two new scavvies, where did you get those hooks from? They would work perfectly for a project Im working on...
the hooks are from the marauder kit from the banners you get in the box, a friend of mine let me have them when i looked through his bitbox.

ok this is easily the coolest thing ive seen in a long long time beats stuff ive seen that would make someone steal candy from a baby just to see them. it beats models that have had work lavished upon them. and do you know why? because it has a top hat!!!!!!!!
these models look great! did you use ghouls and gretchin for the basis?

What a feast this plog is! I'm loving the wacky, menacing, slasher Halloween vibe here. And the greenstuffery is first rate.
Necromunda seems to bring out some of the best, most twisted conversions. Like a boney finger beckoning us out off the lighted porch, into the night.

HOLY CRAP! Those are fraggin' amazing.
I want to add some conbstructive critisism, but I can't think onf anything. I'm blown away by those conversions!
Love the combination of parts on the ash waste gangers. I'm so gonna steal that.
I like how you use the kroot rifles, they fit in really good. The gask mask on the warboss is pretty cool too. With the barrel on his back he looks a lot like the Forge World demon prince.

Once again im at a loss of words, i would never in a million years think that my conversions would get such great feedback and when i read your kind comments i get such inspiration and motivation to continue modeling, so once again thanks a million everyone <3
Really sorry though for the lack of updates recently, modern warfare 2 dropped like a bomb in the mailbox last wednesday and i havent been able to stop playing it since then but im glad to tell you that know im back on the modeling track again
So tomorrow ill post the pic of the sculpting tools that i use as i promised and some new wips on my new scavvies.
Anung an rama, be my guest and steal away and i actually took the idea with the barrel from the FW daemon prince since it was such an awsome model and the gasmask on the warboss is made from a turbine from the new stormboys that fit perfectly on the warrbosshead. The scavvies that i have made are a mix of ghouls and grots and some parts from the flagelant kit. Then ive just extended some of them and filled the gap with greenstuff and sculpted robes and rags on them.
Im also really glad you like the scavvy boss, i guess he really does look like a grumpy old man like you said Lf666 and so far ive been calling him "King Samedi" cause of the tophat bu "Da mad hatter" is a really cool name to! Like tha bad guy from batman
And ghostly since you, like myself is such a huge fan of tophats (lets face it, nothings cooler than a really big tophat) i think youre gonna like my next project that im starting as soon as my scavvies are done. Ive been checking out Anthony Case deathcult rules for necromunda and got an idea for how to make them. Since they seem to be something like a graverobber/voodoo cult i was thinking a gang of darkskinned warriors clad in ragged shorts, long delaquish coats, dreadlocks, skullpainted faces and dum dum dum TOPHATS FOR EVERYONE

If you paint even half as good as you model, we're in for a real treat here.
The new scavy boss is pure win. It's amazing how you got that gun look so different with just a simple conversion.
That hook-handed guy looks very BioShock-ish. Nice work so far.

Serious company? I mean, sure it's a serious company (if you want a more "serious" company I think something like Avatars of War would fall under that, now those are pros!), but it's also a sculptors collective/family sort of thing. We hope to become this hub where sculptors can have their stuff cast, but can also learn the craft if they are interested to! Join our forum if you're interested! You and Icesword could probably come up with quite some interesting stuff since he is producing infantry kits like a one person factory at the moment. I think some of his upcoming stuff (especially the mutants and mercenaries) will interest you, especially when Ed (the guy running the show) will be able to cast the stuff in plastic (hopefully after the x-mas holidays)!
But to get back on topic, what are the upcoming plans for your stuff/ Will you also make some terrain for them to fight in?
