Very nice work. Where is the bottom half (the legs and streamers) from?

Dying's the easy way out. You won't catch me dying. They'll have to kill me before I die!

I finished St Celestine over the weekend and have a few shots to show you, I'm quite happy how she turned out.

Also today we have a pic of my work in progress Deathwatch Librarian for Graven's competition, I decided to go White Scars with mine to add a bit of colour to the model to help him stand out.

I've also started on the Sisters foot troops while I'm waiting for some chaos stuff to come in the post, nothing worth showing yet though.

I like him! But maybe you could do some more colour on the gun? To break it up a bit, at the moment it's mostly black...

Just a suggestion, he's looking great!

Not much love for the Sisters then, ah well never mind here some more

I also did some testing for the Exorcists today on some spare pads, ignore the trim it will be painted when I do them properly, they need to be glossed to really pull the effect out.

The gold will be done a lot more finely so they look sort of like this.

Next up more Sisters this time with jump packs

Checking out this thread per your open request, and only because I like you.

Painting on the PSNWG (Psychotic Space Nuns w/ Guns) seems to be a below the standard you've achieved w/ all the other models I've seen from you in the past. I'm looking past the fact that I hate the models and hate the fluff that makes them what they are. This is objective feedback.

The white helms / masks / whatever they are- seems chalky and thick w/ sloppy edges, the faces are lifeless, the white in their hair makes them look like 50 year old grandmothers, and the weapons are too basic / bland. You are way better than this.

*Back to my unapologetic bigotry* PSNWG are bad, bad people that do terrible horrible things. At least the 'Ruinous Powers' are openly honest about what they do without the smug and self-righteous justification. Chaos will kill / main / burn the Imperium for conquest. PSNWG kill / maim / burn the Imperium to 'save people'.

This is a sign from the Chaos Gods. Listen to them. Embrace the Chaos Gift you have been rewarded with (amazing talent w/ a hobby knife and paint brush) and get back to painting something other than this.

And a final note- The Berzerker helm and Icon of Khorne on the base of St Celestine is so wrong in so many ways I can't even get my thoughts together to string a collection of words into a concrete thought to explain how messed up that is, especially from you.

Thanks for the feedback Skalk They do look better in the flesh so to speak. I did wonder about the hair but its the standard colour for Sisters for some reason, well mines a bit darker then GW's version.

Not being able to really do any conversions is a bit of a let down for the army in general I must admit.

Have no fear the forces of chaos will have my attention again very soon.

Popped in for a scout around GiraffeX, I always wanted to do some sisters. I must say I'm not so keen on the dreads on St Celestene though I really like the lower half. The Serg is very cool. Keep going people will start subbing.

Strange lots of hate and love for the Sisters.

Been working on the Seraphim all weekend and still a lot to do.

Here they are so far, the odd one out on the left is for nerdfest09's squad leader painting contest http://www.dakkadakka.com/dakkaforum/posts/list/477119.page

Still to go for my 900 point doubles tournament list is

1 Exorcist
1 Aegis Defence Line with Quad gun
2 sergeants (or whatever they are called)
1 Melta Girl
2 Multi Melta Girls
4 Heavy Bolter Girls

hmm it's quite a lot really considering my speed and I might also have to do a few chaos HQ's. I've managed to be booked up for four tournaments in a row at the start of November, lucky for me I'll be using the Sisters in the last event so have the most time to spend on them.

I've also put a custome order in for some cool Faith counters with www.warmill.co.uk I'll post a pic when I get them they are due in about a months time.

The Seraphim are all done apart from the jump packs so hopefully they will be finished by the end of next weekend, I also started building my Exorcist as well.

Thanks I do know what you mean they have no personality like my chaos stuff as they are just stock models, you cant really do much with Sisters apart from paint them. I could have given the Seraphim some nice back packs with some really nice wings but felt for the price of the bits it wasn't worth perusing on top of the cost of the models in the first place.

------------------------

On a side not I also started building my Exorcist on the weekend, wow what a pain in the behind that turned out to be. I managed to get all the side panels flush apart from the back right one which seems warped, the organ thing has slight gaps between each part but there wasn't much I could do about that, should look fine when painted though.

Yeah I forgot the doors whent back to do them and ended up cutting my finger with a modelling knife, lucky for me it already had wet super glue on so welded together quite quickly without any blood shed, I gave up after that and it still doesn't have any doors

the models are looking great, awesome work
quick question, How did you do the mars-esque bases for your sisters? I'm starting a chaos warband and the bases would fit nicely with the models I'm converting
again, awesome work, really like saint celestine

The bases were done as follows

Paint with Vallejo Terracotta

Finish by adding Vallejo Dark Red Ocre pigment

Well, I think you interpreted the Howling Griffons fluff wrong. They don't believe the codex to be holy and godlike, and they are quite far from fanaticism . They think they the Codex is a highly effective set of combat tactics, not a book of holy scriptures.

Big update today for you on the Sisters front as time is running out to get th e900 points worth painted up. They need to be ready by next weekend

Not much left now and a week off to get them finished.

These were finished off during the week just gone

Some more Sisters

The Aegis Defence Line which I'm really happy with. I managed to give it the desired martian sand swept look.

I also started work on the Exorcist today, here's the front panel still WIP, I had to get a pic in the shadow tonight so its not great the shine from lights made it look very weird.

Just the Exorcist left and 5 heavy weapons girls to be completed by end of day Friday.
