Hi everyone,

Any good Valkyrie Vendetta scratch built conversion ideas/pictures?
Looking at getting a valkyrie vendetta for my Elite Imperial Guard force, but not keen on forking out even more dough for a FW conversion kit, as the Valk itself is JUST in my budget, as yet not even that has been approved (wife)

Does anyone have any good ideas on converting one that are close to SCRATCH BUILT, as I really want to avoid putting any more money down on this one model than I have to.

Just get some lascannons...add them to the valkyrie...done!

Seriously its one of the easiest conversions you can do, you will need lascannons though, but playing guard you should have scads from your infantry.

I use 4 (2 and 2) stuck under the wings with a magnet, and use a twinlinked lascannon from an old dreadnought for the one beside the cockpit.

Alternatively, two valkyrie kits can be used (or traded for) and use both those lascannon bits on the cockpits.

I posted on this a little while back, what I did looks good but the work on the nose was a little involved.

Most people modified the mounts on either side of the cockpit and glued the two lascannons there.

Some hacked up the SM dreadnaught twin linked lascannon and if fits pretty well.

Hope this helps.

It is a pretty easy conversion, and you should be able to pick up lascannon barrels pretty easily. I had some spare TLLC left over from predator turrets that were easily chopped up and added. I also went for a nose mounted assembly, but added the other 2 hardpoints either side of the cockpit, rather than under the wings.

Please excuse any spelling errors. I use a tablet frequently and software keyboards are a pain!
