hello fellow wargamers. I was thinking about setting up a new Chaos warband named the reavers. The Color scheme will be similar to "Skyrar's dark wolves". My lord will be called Skyrar too. here are the 2 1st assembled models to wet your appetite. The discussion fluff can be found here http://www.dakkadakka.com/dakkaforum/posts/list/302719.page
The reason why I picked up Chaos sm again was because I grew a bit tired of my Necromunda project, and I also had a bit of experience with chaos (Death Guard and Word bearers )

I'm thinking the same. I still don't know how the paint job will look like precisely. I already said Like Skyrar's dark wolves from codec csm, but I may tweak it a bit, who knows.

after a while its time for the 1st update. Painted up the 1st one. I m happy with the paint job. The colors turned out rather well IMO. C&C welcome. I also built 3 more CSM the 1st box is built now. This army will probably grow to over 1500 points.

yeah but as I said before, The colour scheme is going to be the same as the dark wolves(with some tweaks). Have you read the fluff page?

As promised. Update. Converted terminator from blackreach. This model was mainly done for fun, will paint them up after the 1st 5 CSM are done.

No! Traitor equipment isn't usually in prime condition now, is it? If I were you, I'd probably add some more "battle damage", to make it look more awesomesauce.

Edit: Also, you put the tusks in the wrong place. Don't take me the wrong way, but it should be easy to get them into the correct position, like in the GW models if you so wish.

oke I'll add more battle damage. But I like how the tusks are, I'll leave em there. also I will add some more details on him after the 1st 5 CSM are painted.

Well, it's not my place to tell you what to like. But personally, it just doesn't work for me.. I mean, there are chaos terminator helmets with tusks coming out of that position I believe, which is fine by me, but on this model, as it isn't sculpted, just looks kinda silly. Ah well, good on you for converting it anyway

everybody has it's own tastes. Also I played the 1st game with them! It's a shame I didn't have have the raptors yet. I'm planning on converting them from assault marines.

Looks pretty good, and if those are your first 40k models, then they're pretty damn good.

Just need to get to grips with highlighting and layering now

thank you, But they are not my 1st 40k models. I'm in this hobby for about 7 years I think. But I never been one to put a lot of effort in painting. except when I realy wanted it.
