looks like I got it,

this is a squad I did for a conversions contest and just finished them this weekend, still need some high lights and touch up's but they're more or less done.

And this is the Captain of my squad which I've named the No Guffs.

You crazy fool! it's refreshing to see someone take a light hearted approach to 40k! and at least your models do the work justice, nice painting too, well done, keep making me smile!

thanks alot, C&C always welcomed, good or bad, I'm a big boy and I've been at this off and on for over 20 yearsso don't worry about pointing out my mistakes, most of my work is done after midnight, so sometimes I make obvious ones.

Hahaha Angry marines....thats awesome probably one of my favorite chapters because of all the awesome backstory... Also you need more Cursing on the armor and need to paint angry eyebrows on all the helmets

lol, you know what I love about the Angry Marines, it's that "love to hate" kind of chapter. Not exactly the guys you want to take into battle, but god love them cause you never know what they'll do next.

I think I might either start another unit tonight, or I might go to work on another fan chapter, either the Sad Marines, or the Lazy Marines.

I'm stealing your ton of grenades idea though. Now I finally have a use for those like, 20 'nade packs I never use.

Great paint and conversion work, but why dont your file mold lines? I honestly dont think you can win a painting/conversion contest without doing so, and its so easy to do!

good point, I should have, lol, didn't think anyone would notice or suggest that, but it's a good idea, too late now though, I would ruin the paintjob if I did it now wouldn't I?

I gave each of these guys a back story and the story for the flamer guy is that he was blinded (is that a word) beyond repair but just like the wheelchair guy, it didn't stop him, needless to say, the other Marines in his unit are smart enough to put the flamer guy up front

exactly what I was thinking at the time. I could have put more on there, but I think the point was made. lol.

I have an idea for you I used on my 3 angry marines. Put an F and a U on the exhaust vents of their backpacks.

like these very much - I never heard of angry marines but they are already my favourite type of marine.. But seriously don't you just hate it when you do a really hot model and then you notice a mold line (erm that came out sounding kind of wrong). But with models this hilariously awsome who cares?
