so just like it says on the title post your converted ogryns and rough riders because im looking for ideas, and any ideas on making a strong theme with them also would be cool!

Alrighty, I'll jump in here. Here's my Ogryn Bone 'ead, converted out of the WFB Ogres, the Ripper gun is a heavily modified Heavy Bolter, and the beret is greenstuff. I have 4 others, but they've been in varying states of finished for over a year....

Those look really cool. That is the Most common base for ogryns.

Though I'm usually on the other side of this issue, I like the GW Ogryns.

I like the GW Ogryn, but they were a little too pricey for me. They're a little too Cadian rather than Catachan, too.

I've got to get a non-wip shot of my ogryns.

Like others, I used the plastic OK ogres for the conversions.
There were NO ogryns available in metal at that point. The old ones had ceased to be stocked by local stores and the new ones weren't yet made.

They're old VOID1.0 'viperwing' bikes I had spare (I have 9 of them) mostly. Riders are a mix of sentinel pilot, catachan heavy weapons team torsos, and catachan and cadian arms with a handful of chaos marauder heads thrown in.

The big guy is on a scout bike, using scout legs, catachan heavy weapon torso, marauder arms and head. Fairings for it come from an old 1/48 scale jet fighter (mirage 2000) - they were parts of the cockpit canopy.

Hello Lordjig6, I actually don't have any Ogryns and Roughriders but if you use dakka's gallery there is a lot of good work.
I just did i quick search, there is 5 pages on ogryns and 2 pages of roughriders.

wow those Mod style ones look awsome, would make a very cool steel legion style! lol! awsome!

I think the 40k ogryns look a bit underfed and lanky, and I like that for IG, but with ogre kingdoms you get a chase/need to really customize them for your self. I suppose the weapons wold be the biggest problem for me to make if I were to make a squad out of OK plastic models.

Made this recently out of my bitsbox (still not properly painted:(
I dont use Ogryns (dont play IG) and made it for fun, so its not actally usable as an ogryn. Count as Heavy weapons team perhaps.

I've only done the one Ogryn to date... always planned to go back and do more, but never got around to it. Maybe when I finally make a start on thet Guard army sitting in a box in the shed...
