vwjetta1997 and I are planning a 40,000point 40k Apocalypse Battle: this will follow the road to making that epic game happen.

I wanted to post some quick WIP pics of an Eldar Phantom Titan I picked up from 'Farseer Jenkins' right here on DakkaDakka.

He made me promise to take good care of it and post up pics so below is a link to what it looked like when it was still with him:

First up.. Received and standing guard on my kitchen counter.


Second.. Sprayed Rust-oleum Green, Weapons and Head Foundation White


Third.. Added some Snot Green and Scorpion Green to a few areas.


My girlfriend gave me permission to take over the Dining Room table this week in celebration of Games Day and to paint up my titan (hooray for her - she's also painting a Sky Shield Landing Pad).. so excuse the cluttermess of messiness that is everywhere.

The latest pic that I took in bringing the Phantom to a GW store for an Apocalypse Game.

Looks pretty good - do you have any close ups of the freehand on the shoulder and shin?

Also, how close is that to finished? 100%, 90%, etc?

thats one nicly painted eldar titan.
Plus never realised that that thing is so big =o.

I can post a closer pic on the shouilders and leg tonight..

As far as how far it is to completion?

I still need to gloss up the gems, paint the ones on the holofins, touch up random 'i dont like the way it looks spots' and maybe come up with some kind of base for it.

Getting the Biel-tan ready for an Apocalyptic November!

I wish I had money for this kind of stuff, it looks great with the biel-tan scheme.

Cobra Type II is cleaned up and laid out..



First primed.. top black, bottom white.
Second.. Dark Angels Green and Scorpion Green in select recesses..

Everything looks gorgeous and that phantom is just unbelievable. Gonna have to add that one to the things to do list. Who made the titan?

Thanks! The Phantom is from Armorcast it's a pretty big beast - but I am looking forward to the Forge World one

Whew! It's been a while since I've been able to work on anything - but here's the latest update on the Eldar Apocalypse in progress.



I know I "almost" finish lots of stuff but I think I need extra motivation to fully finish all the Eldar.. looking for some BIG Apocalypse games this summer to help give me a goal..

(I should maybe stop using my iPhone to take pics of my progress.. but its just too damn easy!)

Nice stuff! The freehand is looking really good although I would add some finer details such as smaller thorns to really make it look its best. Keep up the good work!

The far left Fire Prism has seen the most action and so has lots of thorns on his hull.. the other two have only been in a few games and the Cobra just one - I'm planning on adding thorns for each armor kill as I go along.

Very nice paint job. The color scheme is beautiful.

Brought the Biel-tan to GW-White Marsh to face off against a small IG Force including a Warhound Titan, Three Super Heavy Tanks and a few Leman Russes, Sentinels and half a dozen truckloads of infantry. Too bad the Revenant Titan took out the Warhound in Round One.. HaHA!

Didn't take any WIP pics of the Revenant Titan or Nighthawk (Bad on me..) but these are the pics for the latest update. Will continue to update as I get my hands on new Eldar Forge World pieces (New Phantom, hooray!).

These pics were setup before the Battle began - again, didn't take any pics of the actual battle and/or set up.. will do so next time!
