). Just wanted to know what you guys think!

I'd say a tie between Catachan Green and Scab red. Just generally good colors. Very neutral, easy to work with. I just like them

And to count his vote (My friend patrick): Enchanted blue

An odd Question, to be honest. I don't know that I have one that I'd rate above the others. I just know that it wouldn't be Skull White.

If I had to decide, I'd say Chaos Black (at the risk of sounding boring) or... actually, Scab Red. Nice shade.

I really like Red Gore. Perfect for cloth of all sorts, and a good armor color.

Asked a few years ago it would have been Scorpion Green.

But now Im not overly sure, prefer the darkish colours now.

Seems like a cool color though.

If washes count, then I'd hands down say DEVLAN MUD.

Otherwise, Charadon Granite. It's a bit thick (which is to be expected since it's a foundation paint), but it works wonderfully for painting a dusty, worn black that can actually be shaded.

If not, Knarloc Green, due to it's sheer brilliance at painting orks

I've recently fallen in love with shadow gray as well. It looks about the same with either a black or white primer, and accepts many washes very easily.

Recently I used it on a space wolf commander for my brother, washed it with a blue ink and badab black, then finally built back the orignal shadow gray through a light dry brushing. It gave me a less cartoony finish then many of GW's pups, and instead looked like a more dark and threatening color for a band of savage super humans.

Without a doubt bleached bone.

I use it for, Armor, bone, paper, eyes, skin highlights, yellow highlights, etc.

After that Badb black wash.

My favorite is Scab red, love the tone.

Painting favorite would be one of the foundations of course...probably Astranomican 'grey.

Goblin Green, because out of all my old paints, my two pots of Goblin Green were the only ones that hadn't gone bad.

Personally, I enjoy working with Boltgun Silver. It works great for more then just weapons.

As for basic colors, it depends on if I'm working on my Space Marines or my Chaos Marines:
Space Marines: Ultramarine Blue
Chaos Marines: Red Gore

Miithril Silver... hands down for me. All of the other colors have decent equivalents in other ranges.

Why just GW "OF COURSE"? I use only Vallejo paints and homemade washs on my WH minis. There are some amazing colors there, my favorites are the Vallejo Air Metallics.
