wow that is huge , windmill for a king! amzing atention to detail, and nice colours, that my friend is a work of art pure and simple. can just imagine it in Nuln, or reikland. Fantastic work , more pics would be nice especially of the detail. Is it scartch built , or kit built or both i suspect. And are you planning on renting it out afterwards? could make a lovely weekend retreat.

So here are some updated WIP pics. Its about 90% completed now. Its actually very very stable, i dont know how it happened but it turned out that way, i was sure i was gonn ahave to weight it but it worked out on its own. Sorry these pics are from my cell I will try and get some good ones this week and post them on my Blog. C&C wanted, thanks all.
Very nice. I think the only thing letting it down at the moment is the base. The actual windmill looks fantastic and is very detailed. The hill it is mounted on lacks detail and definition, which really detracts from the whole piece.
This video has some good tips on how to make good looking cliffs etc (think it is about half way in)
It really is very beautiful work. I think I have to echo a few other people's thoughts though - it doesn't look very stable. I'm sure in terms of the model that it is perfectly stable, but aesthetically it doesn't look right having a stone and masonry object on such slender planks and supports. I feel that it would have to be on rocky ground rather than the wooden supports in order to actually exist. Something like that would weigh many many many tonnes and the wood just wouldn't be able to support it. Yes, I know, Physics doesn't really apply to fantasy situations, but sometimes I think you need to apply 'enough' physics to make something look right.
Enough of the negativity. This model is simply superb and it would be great to see some of the details on a higher resolution camera! Also, I'm sure you have other projects you'd like to share with the eager masses.....
