I was recently been asked to fix this up and photograph it for sale, and thought I'd share some photos as I reckon it's one of the most inspirational terrain sets I've seen. The damage was minimal - just a few paint chips here and there, and the handle is missing from a vice on the gargant's scaffold - don't really see the point in replacing it as it'd be super-fragile. If the buyer wants it, I'll do it.

It really is quite glorious, easily up to Games Day standard. To my eye there's bits from also at least £500 worth of kits used on it. It's fun trying to identify them all. Note the valkyrie engines on the gun are forgeworld resin, not the new plastic... this terrain is a few years old now...

George is also going to be taking bookings for commission work very soon through the Winterdyne Commission Modelling site (WOOOOO!) and is particularly interested in scratch build / sculpting jobs.

That is cool, reminds of the old terrain piece gw made for epic in the 2nd edition 40k days, always thought a 40k size piece would look good.

I love everything about this. Construction, painting, feel... it all just works so damn well.

Wow! This is an amazing set of scenery! It must be worth a pretty penny too. Thanks for posting those!

Winterdyne, you don't happen to have other pictures of M. Dellapina's awesome work, like his Dragon Slayers? I've been looking for more pictures of his Stormtroopers since I've seen them in WD a couple years back.

I'll see what I can get - been meaning to arrange to go over to his and get decent photos of a load of stuff done. When I get 'em they'll be going on the commission blog, so keep an eye out there.

There's leman russ bits in there too - check the engine out - there's russ barrels there... if you add up the kit costs on this it gets frightening.
