Been Around the Block

What with all the war-bosses knocking around on bad-ass choppers & trikes, I thought I´d come up with something to take em on!
The chassis´made out of an outrageous hot-rod custom engine which I´d had knocking around for ages & always wanted to use as is, in the end I spun it through 90º to make a really big block, elongated with a bit of lego, & then attached the wheels. Front wheels being a couple of Yamaha V-MAX wheels & the axle, Stuka landing gear. The rear wheel is made out of the turbines from a pod-racer with the rubber strip used to mount a bike light, and the axle Beaufighter landing gear cut down to fit in nicely.
The body´s made of plasticard & Metro flyers(which have proved most usefull over the years) with straws for exhaust ports and a bit of a Luftwaffe bomb dolly.
The saddle etc is all standard Scout bike (had to be sure it would fit). Finally the two Gatling guns were ordered from Australia!!! but...scale problems, very weedy & I had to make the barrels myself more straws & wire.
The overall design is just the culmination of lots of influences tweaked to a shape which I had in mind & a good smoke!
Anyway... the MkI Tomahawk Pursuit bike (MkI because I might be able to get my hands on a milling machine & see if I can´t make this number in resin)

This bike is awesome! So many things I like about it, love the dual cannons coming off the front. I love the size of it relative to the figure (its like he is straddling a VW bug!). I love the paint job, in particular the matching stripes on the bike and shoulder pad. i like that it appears to have 4 wheels, seems tactically like a good idea (incase a few of them take bullets and go flat!). Just a fantastic looking model! Great Work! Totally trumps other bikes!

I was thinking that your bike looked like an awesome union of the Bat-Pod (which I'm not a big fan of, so props for giving me positive vibes from it) and the Dodge Tomahawk, before your name for it even registered. In any case, very cool design. What're you running it as, if anything? Or did I miss that earlier?

I can picture this thing smoothly cornering on a city street, the engine humming as the rider coasts through the turn. The rider fires his bolt pistol at an unseen target then guns the engine. The front end of the bike jumps into the air as the whole shoots forward, smashing down with the impact absorbed by amazing shocks and suspension. This is an epic win.

Holy hell. You using that to count-as anything, or just as a cool model? Just asking because having it as a scout biker just seems like a hilarious amount of work for like a 20 point model with a 4+ save
