"Forget the power of technology and science, for so much has been forgotten, never to be re-learned. Forget the promise of progress and understanding, for in the grim darkness of the far future there is only war. There is no peace amongst the stars, only an eternity of carnage and slaughter, and the laughter of thirsting gods."

I know Guard vehicles get criticized for being boxy, but this is ridiculous!

Joking aside, you really do need to detail it more. Right now it just looks like a floating tissue box, and I can't even make out a discernible pilot's compartment.

i think it needs more detail...it looks (like bro srm said) like a tissue box...

Please visit my Trade Thread I'm always looking for something and usually have something up for trade.

I think its an admirable first attempt, as scratchbuilding is tough. The devil, as it has been said, is in the detail. Try adding rivets, some landing gear, and vision slits for the pilot (rhino kit) to boost it a little. Maybe try highlighting the edges of the plates to add some relief as well?

T'aint that bad. Pretty nifty actually.

Very boxy, like a flying brick... could be a stormraven!

Seriously though, it's a great first attempt. Rivet that bad boy up, and people will love the detail!

Certainly getting there.

Add some rivets cabling, detail in where panels of armour meet.

Add vision slits or make them stand out.

Paint the weapons a separate colour (just keep them metal and the missiles grey or white?

Weather it.

PS What does this counts as in game?

It is a pretty good first attempt. Remember that we are in the futuar and all deswign issues can be solved by an appropriate application of magical future tech

I would recommend trying to get the windscreen to look more like glass. At the moment it looks like just another armour panel. Some reflecty lines and reverse highlighting and all will be well.

Please excuse any spelling errors. I use a tablet frequently and software keyboards are a pain!

I think it looks good, however it seems like it is more of a space marine vehicle.

thats what i thought, but to be perfectly honest, my first attempt isnt worth the battery power to take a picture so i cant say much

and they "use" to have skimmers if you read "legion" (horus heresy) its nere the beginning when the gaurdmen are transporting the prisioner or something like that

I would change the "wings". maybe a little bit longer and without an angle. I would also add some kind of cockpit
