So I got this little fella from a trade recently, and it'll be the first official piece of my newly started Titan Legion: Legio Tartarusa. The only thing lacking is to attach the crotch-banner, but we've been snowed in for two days and I haven't been able to get to the store to get any chains, and my eagerness to post the pictures has overcome my desire for completion. So here it is, in the flesh (err, resin), my first Warhound Titan: Menoetius, a.k.a., Lucy (which, coincidentally, actually is my dog's name, but this is because it's a Lucius Pattern Warhound.)

How long did it take you from start to finish?

It took about 2 days, although I'm not counting the time it's going to take until I can put the banner on.

Lots of character in this model. It has a very strong sense of realism.

This is awesome, and the pattern is fabulous too. Though the head looks a bit too tilded in some pics, it might just be the angle.

Could you (pretty please) take a closer shot of the citizens and the water?

Very nice painting but my favorite part is definitely the base, it ads a ton of character to it.

Yeah, I don't need to tell you that looks awesome, but I will point out that the banner image is very, very cool. It sums up perfectly what I imagine the Adeptus Mechanicus believes!

A nice, characterful base for a beautifully assembled and painted titan. Plus, it feels like it's been a while since I've seen a Lucius pattern that wasn't made of card.

Nice to see a Lucius pattern "Jackal" Warhound, since I'm pretty fed up with all those Mars patterns out there.. A real shame Forge World doesn't make a Chaos version for this outstanding Warhound version, but I have plans on ordering a Jackal "pooch" in about 4 months and subdue it to the Empyrean powers.. How I am looking forward to the day I'm going to get that beast in my mail..

I absolutely love the "base", with the ruins, the ruptured water-pipeline and that bunch of civillians staring in awe and fear at the advancing Warhound. The pose of said model drips also with awesomesauce, since it has that "Hey, don't be afraid, I'm on YOUR side!" look. Top notch freehand painting as well, eledamris.

By any chance, do you have pictures of the interior?

Well, the Warhound only has an interior to the cockpit, which the guy I got this from didn't send with the rest of it. He found the crew a few weeks ago and should be sending it soon, so when he does I'll install that. I gotta get my hands on a Reaver next, since that thing does have an interior.

Out of curiosity, was it already assembled when to got it, and if so, how much (if any) physical mods/ conversion work did you do? Regardless, top-notch work man.

It was mostly unassembled, and I had to do a LOT of work to clean up the molds. I've worked with a lot of FW stuff before, but this had the worst mold errors by far. There was a lot of green stuff used on this sucker.
I made it so that it still comes apart at the torso, and there's just a thick brass rod that runs through there to keep it stable. Transportation would be too difficult if it were in one piece. The weapons arms are glued on, even though I have an extra Vulcan Mega-Bolter, mainly because I didn't have the supermagnets to make that work. Also, I'm getting a second Warhound so I'll just put the Mega-Bolter on that one.

Hmm, nope, it would seem not. I didn't even know the Mars pattern had an interior until now. I just looked on FW's website. Very nice. Oh well, though, I still like the Lucius Pattern's look better.
