Subject: guide to building life size space marine armor?
Hello All
I was wondering if anyone knows of any guides for creating life space marine armor? I'd like something that looks high quality, also willing to just buy a costume if there are any companies that sell them

before you know it you will be telling me 40k is played with dice on some fictional battle field
No, no, the battlefields are quite real! This isn't Ex-Illis you know, where we roll pixels. We use real battlefields, they are just very tiny and made out of sand, glue, foam, and paint.
....and lo!.....The Age of Sigmar came to an end when Saint Veetock and his hamster legions smote the false Sigmar and destroyed the bubbleverse and lead the true believers back to the Old World.

Any help would be great
Are you going to build it life size or human-size?
Human-size is a cop-out. I know that life-size will be much harder (you'll be standing on blocks and looking out of holes in the chest) but worth it, imo.

Are you building this to display, or to wear? If the latter, I'm not sure how you're going to pull it off, as the average modern human is what, 5.7 feet or so, and the average marine is 9.5 feet.
In either event, if you look into vacu-forming, I think you might find what you want. Here are some ideas to get you started.

There are a few optimus prime outfits floating around the web where the wearer looks out of the chest windows. A similar idea could work really well for bringing out the sheer size of marines.

Bore out the chest aquila's eyes and look out of those!

Really? Sternguard veteran sergeant begs to differ!
Two heads would logically dictate two eyes on a larger scale, no?
I shake my powerfist at you! As I stare out the aquila's skull's eyes!
Mostly, I made a joke and meant it to be taken as such. The whole idea of making a 10 ft tall workable costume, while not impossible, is certainly best left to the professionals.
Edit: OP, that is not to say that making a workable scaled-down version isn't achievable. Just make sure you you work out the proportions well. A lot of marine costumes end up looking pretty bad, even if the individual pieces are well constructed, because when all put together it still looks like a scrawny geek with some huge shoulderpads tacked on. Space marines are bulky. If you're not that bulky then, make sure your armor is!

No. It has two heads, but only one of them has an eye.
Ahh! Yes. Upon further examination, I see that this is indeed so. Whups. Apologies for the snark, and lamentations for myself at being wrong on los interwebs.
So just use the skull one then

Well, maybe. Might be able to still pull it off through creative use of very thin armor, a tabard, robes, terminator armor, or some variation thereof. You'd just need to get more creative.
It's been a looong time since I've done any work on the costume...
Long story short:
Cardstock
Pepakura
Resin
Fibreglass
PATIENCE
Having said that it's a lot of fun...messy...but fun!
Edit: Please, please, please don't do any of this without the necessary safety gear (respirator and eye goggles as a minimum. OLD clothes (they will get trashed) and gloves).
If you need any advice, please PM me
