About a year ago I bought some Space Wolves, which have been gathering dust in my closet. I've even tried to get rid of them. Then I read "Prospero Burns" and decided that I wanted to paint them. This, and a couple of other posts, has been the result.

I think that's a very well done model; the paint is a good colour and smooth yet gritty and the blood (and amazing splatter) is some of the best I've seen on a model.

My only qualm is that maybe his dynamic/flowing motion/feeling could've been made a bit better which would've further improved the model IMHO.

I love this. How did you do the blood on his claws? Is it water effects?

As for the pose, I love that too. Rather than being in midswing, he seems to be stopping to snarl. Somewhere, on the otherside of the table, those who oppose the might or russ have soiled their pants.

Very well done! Normally I'm not a big fan of blood on models but this fellow is just brutal. The blood on the snow and the expression in his face gives me the feeling of a wild animal!

I don't normally like blood on models either, unless it helps in telling the story. I like this one. For this one, it works. I use Tamiya Color's Smoke and Clear Red mixed together for the blood.

did you know that in some cultures, sticking your toungh out at someone is a threat to eat them!
