Farseer Ava quietly sat in her chambers, deep in meditation. Exotics crystals and gems eerily hover around her. Slowly they circle around the Farseer, spinning faster and faster into a kaleidoscope of colors. Her mind meanders through the warp’s twists and turns, following numerous strands of fate of Craftworld Iybraesil. Clues to the secrets of the Crone Worlds flashes in her mind in a series of events. She envisions an Archon who’s destined to stumble across an artifact belonging to the Crone Worlds. The Archon’s current whereabouts is on a backwater planet located in a prison. She scries for any information pertaining to the Archon’s captors. To her surprise, the captors turn out to be her antagonist and bitter rival, Canoness Dianus of the Order of Faith.
Ava wakes out of her trance. The crystals and gems collapse and remain inanimate on smooth ground. Ava bridges a psychic connection to her warriors.
“Prepare for war. Morai-Heg commands us to free our dark kin. The Archon’s freedom will bring us a step closer to our ultimate goal.”
.....
“How goes interrogating the Archon?” Dianus ask Sister Alice, a Dominion who specializes in weapons of torture.
“Not well,” replies Alice, “My Sisters and I have subjected him to a series of excruciating tests. It seems our treatment have an opposite effect.”
Alice opens an audio duct to the Archon’s cell.
“More… arrgh! Oh yeah, that’s the spot. Harder! Tighter! Come on you filthy monkeighs, you can do better than that!” scream the Archon.
Dianus shook her head in disbelief.
“A race that revels in pain. They are complete opposite to their Eldar kin,” murmers Dianus.
“Canoness,” vox a Celestian, “our sensor arrays have picked up a flotilla of Eldar vehicles flying in from the west.”
“Speak of the daemon,” curse Dianus, “tell all Sisters to mobilize. If we cannot extract information from the Archon, then we will force it out of Eldar prisoners.”
.....
Last winter, my friend Wade sold me his Eldar army. As a farewell game, we played one last game between my Sisters of Battle versus his Mechanized Eldar.
Army Lists:
The game was set to 2000 points. Wade brought along his mech-dar army featuring 8 grav tanks and Eldrad.
Eldar:

I brought my Immolator Spam list. Normally I field a Heavy Support Immolator with 5 Inquisitorial Storm Troopers inside, but this time I try a different build. Afterthoughts:
.....
Canoness Dianus took a deep breath before she turned the handle and stepped inside the interrogation room. The room was dark except for spotlights centered on a female Eldar strapped to a steel table. Dianus took a step closer to get a better look at her prisoner. Her eyes widens with recognition.
“Well well, fate has crossed our paths once again,” murmurs Farseer Ava.
“Indeed,” reply Dianus, “the last time I saw you was back on Cyron I, fleeing into your portal after my commander blew up your starship.”
Ava smirks. “And do you remember my parting words?”
Dianus frowns. “I recall, you told me you have foreseen my imminent doom. Clearly you are wrong. I’m still alive.”
“My predictions still stands,” reply the Farseer. “In fact, this very planet will be your grave.”
“After defeating your dark cousins and capturing you, I find that hard to believe.”
The Farseer let out a sigh. “Unfortunately as much as I want to, it won’t be me delivering the killing blow. But I assure you, your death will be at the hands of one the most evil beings in the universe.”
“I’ve already survived my encounter against the Oracle of Tzeentch. Nothing trumps a greater daemon in evil except for a the chaos gods themselves.”
Farseer Ava laughs. “You monkeighs know so little about the ancient past. Let’s parley. I’ll reveal your fate so you can avoid it. In return you will free my forces and the Archon into my custody.”
“Why would I do that when I can force the information out of you?” question Dianus.
“Come now, we’ve tried that already. Without your anti-psyker assassin, your methods won’t work on me.”
“Not quite, I can keep you captive until I meet my commander.”
Ava chuckles. “I know you are lost. I witness your starship flying into a warp storm and daemons breaching its hull. Your starship made an emergency exit and now you are stranded here, on this planet, light years away from your corpse emperor’s domain.”
“Lies!” yell Dianus. “Explain this,” she gestures to the room around her. “This is an Imperial bunker, evidence that the Emperor still safeguards this planet.”
“And have you made contact with any other monkeighs? Keep searching. Underneath its living surface lies a death world.”
Dianus thought it over for a few minutes. As much as she hate to admit, the Farseer was right. Weeks have passed since the Sisters arrive on this planet. By now she should have made contact with the locals.
“Supposed I accept your story and parley. What’s in it for you? Why would an Eldar free a Dark Eldar. You two aren’t exactly on friendly terms.”
Ava shrug. “That’s for me to know and you to find out. Now do we have a deal?”
“No deal. Xenos can never be trusted.”
“Then take me as hostage,” whisper Ava, “You know how important I am to my Craftworld. You’ll never escape this sector. My starships are faster and equipped for war. Yours is crippled and cannot warp jump. In exchange for freeing my forces and the Archon, I’ll guide you back to your domain and save you from your fate.”
Dianus’s eyes widen in disbelief. The Eldars were arrogant in nature. They always viewed other races primitive compared to their own. To have a Farseer stoop into submission meant the Farseer was serious. Plus, what else did Dianus have to lose?
“Fine, let’s start with my imminent doom. Show me how I can avoid it. If we cannot stop that, then both our objectives cannot be met.”

Great game, and a nice way to end a long-standing rivalry.
Now that you have an Eldar army, would I be right in guessing from your fluff that there is a team battle coming up? Also, do you plan on keeping the Eldar army as it is, or do you plan on making additions?

I was under the impression that objectives were to be 12' away from the table edge?
Capture and control with no secondary objectives is absolutly a waste of time imo. You destroyed the eldar warhost leaving less than 200 points on the board, you won rofl.
As far as the eldar list, it re-affirmed my hatred of bright lances (as they did absolutly nothing). I was surprised to see a squad of 4 dire avengers make a SOB squad fall back in close combat. How did that work exactly?
Incredible SOB army. The ability to bring 12 tanks to a 2000 point game makes me wonder why there arnt more SOB armies in tourneys. Nice job and list.

Yeah, a draw is a great for ending rivalry between two armies. I use to play against Wade a lot in the past. While his lists needs tweaking, he is still a capable general.
Unfortunately there will be no team battle in my next report. I wish my local GW held more double tournaments, but the turn out is low. Last week they had a 1500 points single tournament and only 6 people showed up.
Eventually I would like to add Seer Council, Howling Banshees, and Guardian Jet Bikes to my newly acquired army. I want to build a list similar to the Eldar player I faced in SF Ragnarok GT:

Haha, I don't think I'll go that far with my fluff. I've never written romance stories before.
If you really want to read some juicy Farseer romance story, I suggest you read this:

Yup.
I think between you and me, we have all the 40k races except for Orks, Necrons, and Dark Eldar.
There will be a lot of exciting match ups in future battle reports between you and me.
Feel free to borrow any of armies if you want to try them out.

The fact that Sisters are all metal except their Rhino and Immolator and performing horribly in Annihilation Mission deters players from bringing Sisters to tournaments.
But I hope that will change after they get redone and a new codex.
