Really stellar work. I like the jungle setting verse the expected hulk setting. The basing is well done and the models are painted very well. The lighting work on the eyes and the librarian's power axe are very nice touches. Those models are by far the coolest terminators ever.

That truly is some amazing painting and the customer will be very proud I'm sure.

What does it for me is the basing. I love the jungle theme going on here and reminds me of Predator for some reason. Except its a squad of termies going in to eliminate a bug infestation.

I like how the space hulk sculpted bases, like the floor boards that Brother Scipio is ripping through fit the image of an overrun jungle compound that the termies are taking back.

The OSL you've done is god-like. The detailing on Brother Goirel, with the broken eye and scratches, is beautiful.

Just a truly kick ass bunch of mini's....The OSL effects are great, not too over the top, and I love the battle damage and the purple blood drop's.

The plants are from atenociti's workshop (link via my blog). They actually do some nicer ferns now (half etched so they have some surface detail). If I can find a decent etching firm I've got some ideas which may make for a better set for jungle foliage. This year I'll be toning down on the painting myself (Tom and the others working with me will still be running) with a view to getting some nice kits and sets made and up for retail.

For me the lighting effects don't quite go with the brightness of the bases but I like the jungle choice regardless. You have certainly inspired me to have a good think about how I'm going to tackle my set of these.

The tiny extra bit of high-lighting on Sergeant Lorenzo's right shoulder pad (1st pic) lifts the whole model & I love the glowy purple effect on the librarian.
It's also great to see that you've drilled out the barrels on the assault cannon. A little extra effort in this sort of area reallt separates you from the crowd.
Whoever commissioned you to do this squad is going to be well chuffed.

As an aside could you add something like 'pic-heavy' to you title as even with 10meg my PC struggled! Ta

Done. It gets my goat when I see nice commission paintwork where the cleanup / drilling side of things has been ignored. IMO these things are part of doing a nice model, to ignore them is just half-assed. It's not like it takes more than around 5-10 minutes per mini...
