Had some spare time on my hands and thought I would start a Diorama for Gamesday UK.

I'm not the greatest of painters but its the taking part that counts.

Comments and suggestions welcome.

I think the Daemon Prince could use some reposing. It looks like you just took him off the base. I would suggest reposing the legs and arms to make it look like he was impaled mid-swing and dropped the sword from the jarring impact. The paint and pose of the Dreadknight looks great though.

I second that maybe make the prince claw at the pilot since he is angry I like the knight but the prince really needs reposing sorry to say I like how th e wings are tho I know weird to say but I like the color and the pose of them

They both are very casually posed.

Almost as if ( picture this )

Dreadnight is having a happy day on a stroll in the park.
The Demon Prince is having a happy day flying in the park.

They both were humming their happy song with their eyes closed and this is the next thing that happens.

You make a good point haha now that I look more closely I dont see enough hate and anger and imma kill you.

Cheers guys, the legs on the DP have been cut and repositioned but i agree not enough!

May rip them of and use a new set of legs, I'll post some more pics from different angels as well.

I really like the base, you have done a fantastic job with that.

Modelling, I agreed with most of the above coments.

Painting wise, there seems alot of bland plain areas of silver on your knight, maybe a light simple wash would add depth, but I do believe it need rethinking/repainting. Metal is one of the hardest things to get right.

My second Dreadknight....

The only criticism I have on your second Dreadknight is that The terminator pilot's leg isn't moving in harmony with the Dreadknight's...

on the second set of pictures, it looks like you just took the demon prince and just kind of stuck him on the corner, i needs reposing and the dreadknight looks very unatural.

The second set has much better posing, especially the DP. And I could see one of those big red angry guys flipping the bird as a big-a** sword gets shoved into his head.

Its a daemon prince....it's meant to be unnatural! lol

Just kidding, the arms and legs have been cut and repined, if you see the model in life you get a better idea.

I love the second one.

This sounds like a lot of work, but for the first one, could you possibly make the Daemon Prince clutching the sword sticking in his gut? I think it'd give a sense of him interacting with the sword/pain, rather than him looking simply propped on the blade.
