I remember we used to have these a couple years ago. I thought they were real neat to help with motivation for projects or other work.

Pretty much we make a vow of something we are going to work on for the month.

Example: 'I vow to paint up 2 Vespid Stingwings by the end of this month' or 'I vow to convert the arms of my Carnifex by the end of this month'

We can give status from time to time... or not. You can go beyond your vow too. And nothing will happen to you if you don't live up to your vow... we just brand your genitals... or not.

My vow:

I vow to have my Malifaux Viktorias Box set models pinned and primed by the end of June. For Reals. *Hides genitals*

I vow to complete 5 Dakka user conversion requests in June.
Further, I will paint to TTQ a box of models that are not Tyranids, as an exercise in empathy.

I vow to paint one of my 16 man archer units, and start on the second.

Also, start on my showcase I'll be using at my FLGS for commission work.

I vow that I will finish up my tactical squad, and my IG shotgun vet squad. And besides that I will start on at least one assault squad.

My vow is to finish my 6 melta vets and Manticor tank for my IG and then to pick up some Ogryns

I vow to finish at get 2 land speeders and finish at least one.

I vow to finish my Arachnarok and my Black Orc mob.

I think i painted more in the past 2 weeks than i did the the whole previous year o_o
my next goal is to finish the rest of the skeletons ( 40 down, 39 to go! )
My Necrocollosus's axe broke so i dont really know what to do with it >.< i was so excited to paint it too...

I think I really underestimated my enthusiasm for the project... I'm going to do another vow.

I vow to have at least one layer of paint on the models. (that should be more challenging)

EDIT:

original vow only sort of done. I vowed to finish the pinning. well I cut and fit the pins but I didn't exactly stick them on yet. so I don't know if it counts.

Vow #1: To clean my house so I (finally) have a dedicated hobby space instead of spreading my Warhammer stuff all over my house...

Vow #2: Paint the Wave Serpent my coworker commissioned. And War Walker.

Vow #3: Finish my Deathwatch Killteam squad.

I've done 2 of my 5 requests, and have assembled some Eldar rangers, minus the heads. Resisting the urge to put different marine helmets and paint them as Power Rangers.

I vow to finish the 50 Mantic Elves that I have lying around. At least I have finished 5 of them.......

Finally fixed the weapon on Nercolith Colossus , the original weapon head is beyond repair ( cracked and cant find some of the pieces ) Now replaced with alternate axe head.

Finish Terminator assault squad.

I vow to update/refurbish my guard army. Clean up the highlighting, give them eyes, minor color scheme changes etc.

I vow to finish the first coating on all my unpainted miniatures (humanoids only, no vehicles) and to prime all unprimed, constructed models.

Great Eyeball Crusade Finished, soldiers now have eyes. Sergeants report that blindless related casualties have decreased considerably.
