here is my steed of nurgle
sorry for my mistakes with to frontal horns (on the chest and on the leg)
they require mud and rust

for this green:
1. goblin green+chaos black (50/50)
2. goblin green+chaos black (70/30)
next step was blending with goblin green watered down
then blending with graveyard eath
than a bit blending of schorched brown

after highlight with pure goblin green

Its a really nicely painted model, the rust effect and green are utterly wonderful but if I'm honest blue glowing runes make me think more of Tzeentch than Nurgle. I'd have gone for a lighter green, yellow or red.

but i think blue glow on blue tzeench models are bad idea, so i used it on this nurgle knight)

Blue glows on blue models is a bad idea unless carefully done... but then not all Tzeentch models are blue.

Plus I didn't say blue on blue... just imo the blue glow takes away from the model looking Nurgle-ish as blue is a colour normally associated with clean and healthy things, so for me, it doesn't fit in with the theme. A blue knight with green glow and corrupted/rusting armour... that would have been very different and very Nurgle. I'll repeat again though, your painting is very well done indeed and the unit are going to look great; the difference of opinion on the colour of the glow is just a personal taste thing.

Gorgeous work! you definitely used the appropriate Nurg colors, the eyes and chaos symbol look great. Fantastic blending of the colors as well!

This mini was painted for my bother as a gift
I don't play WH FB because I don't like theese rules anymore... :(

But maybe you will see my CSM army in this colour scheme

or even my new Necrons army)

IMHO the blue looks great on the green. it may slightly detract the nurgle effect but it gives him a regal lord of nurgle sort of feel.
