Alright, its about time I get off my lazy bum and try to get a fully functioning fantasy army up! What better way than to use some of the coolest new rules and (so far) a bunch of third party models (WGF skeletons and immortal hoplites). Havent go around building anything yet, just got my package today. Since theres so little info on WGF skeles, I decided to post pics of their sprues. I hope my motivation doesnt get killed by the sheer fiddelyness of those skeletons!

Breakdown of the sprues

Torso, Knifes?, Shields, Heads and raising from ground base, misc weapons, arms, pikes (weird that in the box I opened, one one set of pikes), spears, legs and feet (ugh), all together, all the sprues from ONE box

Where on earth did you get those skeletons from? the wargames store doesnt seem to have them available for order yet?

Anyway it all looks good, can't wait to see your progress. I do love my hoplites

I've been on their forum and according to them, they only filed out orders for the first wave of skeletons to retailers and not to themselves. Webstores like Warstore had a supply of them for a while now

Quick update, getting back into the swing of things so I'm slow on building. In fact I'm a pretty bad modeler if you can tell. As I feared, those skeletons are so fragile! The guy missing his leg? Not intentional, the leg snapped when I tried to cut it loose. Ugh the feet are a nightmare to stay still and the arms so far are difficult to find the right spot. In fact thats why my skeleton on the ground only has one arm, too lazy to muck about with a 2nd! Anyways I got 3 normal skeles and a hoplite with a skull head swap (its ok I guess, planning on mixing fleshy heads on them though)

Argh these photos are really dark, my photo skills consit of using the photo button my a hd camcorder

Anyways havent been doing too much, built a full skele, an arm sticking out of the ground, and a hoplite. Hmm the hoplite head looks much smaller than the skulls, this might make my mixed heads look a bit funky for my count as tomb guard
