Update: Mega Nob WIP

If you had seen my last thread this might look familiar:

Profile: Kannaz
When Painboys have all but given up on a few, mortally wounded Nobs, Flashgutz 'reassigns' these Nobs for the personal protection of his Big Meks. They get fitted in a heavily armoured Plas-Steel Fuel Drum, looted from the tanks of the Imperial Guard who use them to protect fuel supplies on the front line. As for weapons, they are given nothing but the most killy for the big meks protection, more often then not a Klaw or Buzzsaw, and a kombi-skorcha.

This is my 2nd generation Kan-Nob. Sporting Badmoonz colours and more gubbinz. Still WIP and I have 4 more on the production line.

Also not my basing scheme, refer to Big Mek for basing scheme.

Haha your right, and it would look awesome. Problem being i've just run out of bitz that I can represent as Robotic Powerklaws, as well as kombi skorchas lol.

If someone could recommend a site that sells powerklaws on a robotic arm, that would be much appreciated

Edit: Should also point out i've updated the pictures from my first post, for better lighting.

Pics are much better. Can see the detail better also. Good stuff keep it up.

Having issues with both my lighting and my camera atm lol but i'll do my best.

Have done some more work on the Nob Kannaz, finished 5 of them and found one I started building a long time ago lol so now its 6.



Should hopefully have the squad painted and based within a week, stay tuned.

My Big Meks personal Assistant, I say that because he's got both a servo spanner attached to him and offpicture he has the same backpack as my Big Mek.



The Ned Kelly Kanna, Heavily armoured and always in front of my Big Mek.



Not really sure about this Kanna, gives me the creeps, but he fits well.

They were indeed, unfortunatly now I have 5 or 6 nobs that are missing legs in my bitz box, might have to put them on trakks lol.

And yes, obviously the thing to do is drop the nob's onto tracks. Goes without saying doesn't it? Tracks make everything better. EVERYTHING!

That squad so far is epic. Love the idea even more.

I agreewith monkeytroll. Tracks for the nobz would set them apart from the boys.

Also think tracks would be cool! Maybe get some epic land raiders and use those! You could prob even count them as nob bikers?

Already have nobs on actual bikes, but i've seen a lot of count as nob bikers with there lower abdomen strapped to a wheel, so im not ruling the idea out.

I do like the idea of epic landraiders, but I feel it would give to much of a uniform appearance, so i'd probably just scratch build them.

Enough chit chat, unfortunatly i'm still have problems with both my camera and my lightsource. I need a soft white bulb or something :

I'll just post them anyway, and re-do the pics when theres plenty of natural lighting.



My first kanner is at the finishing stage, maybe a few touch ups but nothing major, Based and weathered.



Ned Kelly kan is coming along nicely, replaced his faceplate with a slab of deffrolla lol.

Agreed, with all kombi-options, instead of buying them and hoping to get the right kombis lol.

and 3's gud, all different kombis for better wound allocation.

Alright, time to get the ladz stuk in!

Got a tournament coming up november, and got a couple of warhammer-less mates looking to lend a hand in getting me orks ready.

Obviously I can't post my exact list, but I will post the units i'm going to be converting / building / painting.

My boss, His Nobz and a snazzy new Battlewagon.

Heres some teasers, obviously WIP.

My Wagon: got some bolting and more plates to ad, but you get the picture.


A Snazzy new battlewagon, converted from a rhino and a vindicator mashed together!


And my new Storm Bros, the concept is personal teleportas, with most of them losing a limb or two due to the random warp teleportz.

I like the concept of the personal telaportaz. And the added fluff with the lost limbs really gives it character.
