Here are some pics of a work in progress for Leman Russ - Primarch to the Space Wolves that I've been working on. He is about a head taller than a standard marine and has been extensively converted using green stuff. Hope you enjoy.

Just added the pic of Russ primed and ready for paint. I beefed up his powerpack exhausts and his right elbow armored joint. I also extended the part of the cloak that was being wind blown to better match the angle of his hair I feel it's got a better look to it and am much happier with the result. Unfortunately life happened and I didn't get to start painting him yet, but he is up next on my desk. So hopefully soon.

Here's the link to the painted model, http://www.dakkadakka.com/dakkaforum/posts/list/378429.page I wish the pics had turned out better but I couldn't find my good camera. Once I do I'll get better pics. Cheers.

Very very cool, great GS modelling skills! The only issue I have and please don't be offended, is that back pack. Due to the size increase it just seems slightly out of proportion, but it may just be the photograph. What do you think?

That's a very impressive start indeed, great green work stuff, I seethe with envy.

The showcase board is actually for finished projects so I'm going to shift this over to the P & M section where ongoing projects "live", feel free to start another thread in showcase once you're done though.

Nice work (obviously), I'm really appreciating your talent at sculpting the greenstuff. I was a little disappointed to notice that he must be the size of a normal space marine... but then I was just more impressed at your sculpting : ). How do you feel working with Green Stuff, do you think its quite easy now, or does your patience overcome any frustration/difficulty you have with it?

I recently got the Horus Heresy Collected Visions big hardback, so Im really happy to see some pre Herasy modeling. Looking forward to the updates.

After several small additions/corrections, he is now primed and on my painting desk. I'll try and get a pic or two before I start painting. Hopefully he'll be done tomorrow or the next day.

Even your bad camera is better than the piece of junk I have been trying take pics with recently, I took close to 50 pics for my P&M blog and only 4 were vaguely close enough to being in focus for me to actually use.

I'd say your pics came out pretty good
