Nice work. I would recommend putting some OSL splash on the nearest parts of the weapon to the eyes though. If you do clever things remember to think them all the way through otherwise they look funny

The OSL on the eyes is a little OTT, but otherwise it looks goooood.

I never meant for the eyes to look OSL, maybe I should use a different color for the eyes other than green? Suggestions?

With such bright, acid green eyes, carrying the blue edgelining all the way around the face made it look like a hamfisted attempt at OSL. The added contrast and darker tone of the red eyes makes it look like a continuation of the armor scheme, not a failed glow. Definitely prefer the 2nd version.

Yeah these look pretty good. I always think black is quite an awkward colour to highlight and make look right but the blue works well, I did a similar thing on some Black Templars as it stands out better than grey. Also the sort of bone colour of the weapon is a nice contrast. Prefer the orange eyes to the green.

I agree. The darker eyes look much more striking. Also someone said hamfisted which is a vastly underutilized term. I'm going to make a hamfisted attempt to use it again in this posting.

I like the second better also.
What does OSL mean? Im semi-new to painting. Not up to par with the terms used.

OSL=off source lighting
It is a term used to explain the technique of making the glow of something show up on something near it.

Nice. I like the exagerrated highlights. Seems like the jewels should be painted on the weapons. Don't forget to finish the base.

Nice work! The gun looks a little "unfinished" but the freehand on the sail is brilliant!
Are you planning on adding crew?

I traded for this army and the gentleman didnt send the crew. Also I am perplexed what to do with the gun, I dont want to paint gems because I dont think DE use spirit stones, but I am not sure what to do with it. Suggestions please. The gun seems to be the letdown of the model in alot of peoples opinion, I just dont know how to fix it properly.

Shame about the crew, I'd offer you my spares if we were in the same country :(
Re the gun, I think its a bit jarring because its one colour that isn't used anywhere else on the model. Same with the warrior, but its less apparent due to the smaller size.
What I think might work is that nice light blue you have on the rear casing of the dark lance and the section running under the middle bulge, and then add some black to the tip and the small recessed oval near the tip of the barrel so that it looks more solid and complete. Then use a black was on the light blue parts to give you some shading. Duplicate on the warrior to tie it all in
Gems are also a nice option, all Eldar love gems

I always kinda thought for the guns that they weren't spirit stones but glass or something to see inside the gun. All my splinter rifles/blasters can be seen as either pink or purple as my guys like to see how much ammo they have left in there. On my venoms and such they are actually containers for the fuel source and gives a better reason for exploding (opentopped +1) than just cause.
The raider looks very nice though, the blue lining is excellent.

The ship and the eye color change on the model are both amazing. The color scheme is really cool, and each color matches well with the other.
