Thanks mate !

I managed a quiet hour or two this morning and managed to add the green stuff power cables and blend in the power packs to the carapace armour. I made the cables last night with my green stuff roller and then squared then up with a couple of pieces of wet plasticard, greenstuff is surprisingly flexible even after its cured.

I got all 15 done so I'll be set for paint after a spell away at work.

Those power cables look good looks more like you used the tentacle maker to do it.

I've been looking for a way to make an ammo belt thing for something for a while, I'll have to immitate what you did here

How exactly did you do the cables dude! they look phenomenal to me! when I try stuff like that it gets very smudgy and soft looking not anywhere near as crisp as yours

I mostly did it by accident matey ! I rolled out some cables on the tentacle maker then squared them up by pressing on them , using some plasticard and a bit of spit !
I let them cure over night then superglued one end to the backpack, once the glue had hardened properly I then cut the cables roughly to length , another drop of superglue and hold it in place with tweezers till the glue set. The green stuff is quite bendy even after it has cured.
Simples !!!

I got my great Dakka buddy Nerdy to paint up some of the figures I had no time to paint, with a mind to using them as adventurers and such in mine and Little H's home brew skirmish / adventure game.
Little H is well chuffed , the hammer priests have come up really well , and we both love the Slann "frogman" , but little H's favourites are the dwarves , there is so much character in them and nerdy did a superb job on them.
Thanks Nerdy ! Saturday night games suddenly got painted !

In other news , I actually found some time to paint some of my own miniatures !
A full squad of Anvil Industries afterlife figures, done quickly with washes and glazes, but I think they turned out pretty good for a couple of hours work.
It's obscene how much I like Anvil stuff compared to GW

Big paint day today, Little H got a Choas dwarf nearly done, half started some khorne juggernauts and a true scale mini of leman russ.
I just had a go at my space hulk corridors and thought the colour might suit my traitorValkyrie. I'm hoping to do it in the colours of an early war Me109 but that remains to be seen....

What, no toes this time?

Valk looks good though, I find myself trying to see 'behind' the model to sneak a peek at what else you have hiding to work on ;-)

Not worth the effort mate, if the models end up on that shelf they usually stay there at least 2 years !!!

That yellow nose style has been really popular recently I've noticed quite a few people do it.

Great airbrushing on the valk mate!

ZM board tiles look fantastic great use of colours & pigments!
