Anti-Skorcha! Bonus points if you manage to get an actual Monitor nozzle from a hose engine, and a big, tow-along tank so that it can actually function as a giant fire extinguisher. Paint it fire-engine red and donate it to your local fire department!

I was reading through the thread, intrigued, and then you painted imperial markings on the amo boxes and I burst out laughing. The best ork bike ever wouldn't be komplete without some looted imperial metal boxes!

This project is AMAZING! Looks great so far! I can't wait to see how you do the dakkaguns.

Sadly, it is a one seater. should that SOB wish to ride it, she simply needs a motorcycle endorsement and a prayer to the Emperor! And by-the-by, y'all look amazing

Gogsnik wrote:One of the most mightily impressive things I have ever seen and whilst it's been said many times already, this bike is awesome! I was never good at electronics so muddling your way through that and managing to get on top is very impressive to me, I wouldn't even know where to begin. Once the shootas go on, this won't pose any problems for you whilst your cycling around will it?

As for chav well, you could also use words like, lout and yob and chav would be close to them but encompassing a look and semi-culture among a minority of generally low-income, council estate residents (I believe in America you might use the term The Projects where we have Council Estates). Of course all sorts of people can exhibit 'chavvy' behaviour but it is a stereotyped term.

good to know I didn't insult anyone! As for the guns, they're not gonna really be for driving long distances, just short rides in parking lots and what nots.

I have a few ideas for some more fun large projects, nothing concrete though. The next few probably wont be warhammer related, I wanna make a coffin/hello kitty rat-rod for the wife, and my next bike is gonna be a WLA basket-case rebuild. Exciting stuff, just not remotely hobby related. Also, I feel dumb, I never noticed comments on pictures! at least I don't remember at any rate. I'll respond to them, it seems the criticism is more in the individual pics!

If you cant loot yer' favorite enemies gak, what CAN ya' loot?!?

UPDATE!

First off, I really hate you jerks for making me paint it proppa'. I wound up pulling all the chrome I could, painting it, and then re-assembling. it was an extra week, but worth it in the end. (except the part where I almost totaled the bike and had to re-build the engine. more on that later!)

First up, the chains that hold on the ammo cans.

up next, I realize I cant really paint the bike while its assembled, so I take apart the bike.

I then remove most of the chrome, scuff up the surface, prime, and paint with the correct temperature paint.

I sculpt up some more bits.

Then I paint them too!

Next, I turn my attention to the bike.

I start blackening it and throwing parts back on.

Much better and much improved!

I still need to waterproof the electronics and air filters. My first attempt was to use cow hide.

Not sure it fits with the aging, ill post a shot once I get to that. Anyways, thats what I got for this update.

COMING UP NEXT!

I only have an oil change and some bolts left to replace, I manage to crack the filter cover, strip the exhaust bolt going into the head, and blow every fuse on the bike at once!

Also it gets beautifully aged. As always, questions, comments, and suggestions are welcome.

So just as I was done changing the oil and replacing the exhaust gaskets, I mis-used my torque wrench and tore the bolt off going into the header. I then welded a nut onto it so I could get the bolt out, and forgot to disconnect the battery resulting in every fuse on the bike being blown.

I may have then used some bad words. All's well that ends well though, everything is fine and fixed.

UPDATE!

I bring the (mostly) finished bike over to a painter friend, she is an expert ager.

While cecile starts aging the bike, I drybrush the cables

I throw on some last minute spikes to the fork covers.

She starts with taking down the paint here and there

Then begins washing out the color and adding sun fades

In between coats she knocked out the saddle bags. My jaw hit the floor, they look so good. This is how I want the entire bike to look!

Up next: the bike becomes a rusted heap

I think I speak for everyone when I say we need a video of just how epic this thing is when in motion and with the engine roaring.

I wasn't planning on having it so aged, but once I saw the ammo cans I told her to have at it. I really like the "pulled out a swamp" look.

Lastly, I'm not sure what I would do with one internet, much less 100. can I just get a gift card instead?

UPDATE TIME!

I have a ton of aging photos. some of them are in-progress shots.

Automatically Appended Next Post:

Automatically Appended Next Post:
Once the aging was done, I took it out on several cautious test drives. First up the headlight was too close to the front wheel, so I raised it up quite a bit. Second, the Iron gob on the front was too bouncy, so I shored it up with a few bars of angle iron. Lastly I finished the cow hide as to water proof it better. I also took the aging down a hair, some of the Ork markings were too obscured. I also Added the Ork mouth to the right side.

These are the final pictures for now. I still need to add all the lights, toggle switches, dakka cannons, banner, and grot tail gunner. I'm done for a while though, gonna enjoy riding it for a bit. I've already put 120 miles on it. It gets quite the reaction cruising around!

Thas it for a while, I'll answer any questions y'all might have, and of course any other comments and suggestions are appreciated. Thanks for looking!
