Here are some pics of what I have done so far.

I used to razorwing kits to start with. Using green stuff and model car putty for fillers. I use the green stuff for the big areas and the white model putty for doing the finer fill ins and smoothing.

I extended the front as well as adding the engines to each side.

In this pic you'll notice I used a reaver jetbike cowl for the forward gunner placement. It says in the dex that the gunner sits in a crystal chamber so when I paint this I will make it look crystal like. I also used one of the extra wings to make the tail bigger. You have to tweak it a bit to get the curve out but it works real nice.

This view is to show the 4 engines placement.

This pic shows size comparison.

I will add more pics as the project continues up to the finished paint job.

Happy Gaming!!

That looks amazing! Do you have any plans to model the void mine? As a side note I love the paint job on the Razorwing.

Thanks. Yes I do have plans but still haven't figured out what I want it to look like. Any suggestions will be helpful. I've thought about wittling down one of the extra bike cowls to look like a mine but that can change if I come up with something better.

Well done, one of the best conversions of the bomber I've seen.

Wow! Great work, man! Consider that idea stolen... I will have to change a few things to make it mine, but that is definitely the best kitbashed voidraven I have seen.

Thank you much.

Here is a better view of the void mine placement.

Here is the primered finish. Now I just have to figure out the paint job. ??

Wow! I can't believe this was almost nine years ago. I've updated the model since, made a mold of GW's nose section and worked it into mine. Funny how theirs came out a few years later and from cockpit back looks like what I created out of two razorwings.

Sorry been away so long. Hope all is well. Hope to chat with anyone from way back as well as any new friends here.
