Not sure if this is the right place for this but...

If not using the official models what models would work for death cult assassins?

Dark eldar witches?
Eldar banshees?
Dark eldar scourges?
Dark ELF witches?

I think guardsman would work for crusaders, just give them storm shields but I'm stumped as for what to make the assassins out of thats not the actual model.

Of course, Non-GW models are fine too. I just need some hints. I'm probably going to run 4 of them

Generations have suffered with the same devotion that we can offer but once. Still, our Faith leads us through these dark times like a beacon. It will guide us to triumph over these abominations. Well, i think you could try to look at Warmachine/Hordes. I have found some examples here, like Satyrix Blood Witches, Skorn Swordmasters, Menoth Blood Daughters.

My friend uses Wyches for Death cult assassins and uses Power armour grey knights with magentized storm shield on them where the storm bolters go so they can be either or.

DE wyches are your best bet, for 30$ you get 10 of em and it doesn't take much to convert them.

Sihamoni takes great pride in the league he helped create, as was conveyed in his recent advertising campaign for the CMFL that stated his midgets will "... take on anything; man, beast, or machine."

Um Ive made some assassins (Evesore, Calidus and Vindicare) out of my spare dark eldar parts. Mainly out of scourges so I would suggest using them

I'm thinking of using some Warmachine Daughters of the Flame myself.

I'm guessing they're what Slaanesh Guitarist up there was referring to as Blood Daughters, but I'm not super familar with the PP offerings so maybe not.

I'm going to go Dark Eldar Wyches with plenty of purity seals and other bits. Those WM Daughters are hella cool, but I'm a purist.

I've used Bretonnian men-at-arms for my Crusaders, turning their halberds into swords just by chopping the pole off.

I've gone for the Dark Elf Corsairs option for my DCA. They have some wicked assassin-type left-hand weapons already, and the curved and jagged elfy right-hand swords I'll be chopping off at the hilt and replacing with falchion blades from my terminator boxes. You could replace the heads or just chop off the offending elfy bits.

I used wood elfs

They have hoods and ninja masks and are fairly easy to convert to swords and knives.

for crusaders I used Bret men at arms with power swords and storm sheilds. Lucky I have a very deep bitz box.

What wood elves are those? I also noticed that Wardancers would be pretty cool DCA as well.

I decided to make some DCA out of Beastmen Bestagore. The GK falcions fit their arms very nicely and the two handed pose allows for some very dynamic arm flourishes. I will get some pictures and share them.

I was going with the old fluff of RT years of Beastmen cults being ultra loyal to the Emperor. A Radical Inquisitor is not going to pass up a chance to use a useful mutant until they are dead. So they owe him their lives until they repay the debt.

Just a change from the standard Human/elf/Dark Eldar looking units.

I'd recommend the reaper battle nuns, they fit rather well with sisters; equally the daughters of the flame from warmachine's menoth factionw ere pointed out earlier.

Otherwise, convert wyches. They are one of the most popular non-warhammer warhammer buys because they are so convertable
