Hey everyone, I wanted to share with you guyz my new project.

after the completion of my chaos bretonian army, I decided to jump into warmachine.

Its been 5 years since i finished painting and playing my warmachine army. Stopped for 1 year playing and when I came back to the game, MKII released there new rules. Since then I have been plaing events and seen some decent army. At a certain point, I thought to my self, My mini's are cool but with what I have seen I can do so much better. Therefore I took the decision to strip paint from my whole army and restart from scratch.

Some close friends of mine did not want to see these decent paint jobs lay to waist, so I had offers from many friends, to exchange my painted mini's for either brand new figurines or just unpainted figs.

so, the first thing that I decide to lay my hands on is Lord Comander Stryker. Now I do not have photo's of the mini done yet but, I want to use this blog to post the evolution. If people wants to see my other warmachine's custum projects that i work on at the same time, I would be happy to post the rest ^^ !

Now my inspiration for this custum comes from dragon ball. I always imagines stryker powering up the same way dragon ball characters does, just before he lays his killing blows.

-1st, I need to change the position of my mini's legs to be in that 2 foots on the ground solid posture. I will be using regular MKI and the epic version of the fig to emulate this
-Next I will have to change the hands and arms position to match the power up's posture. I will either resculpt or bend the arms to rechape the posture
-Last, I will add an electrical ora to emulate that glowing finish that dragon ball characters gets when in power up mode. The electrical theme will match with Stryker's fluff for his special armour.

both are Work in progress still,

- Stryker, there are some armour plates that i need to sculpt on the sides of the legs and wires that goes from the arms to the back + the sparks all around

- Stryder, there will be sand bags, there will be Kadorian soldiers being sparked to death, Last, i need to work on sparks all over the stryder's model oh yeah! i forgot, barbed wire!!! very very important!!!

I got other projects lighed up:
- Custum nyss hunters made from Cyra's Mage hunters
- Custum Black 13
- Custum job on E Haley to make her look more caster like
- Custum job on E-Caine

I will publish them once I get the proper lighting for clear photos.

Missing sand, barbed wire and the kadorian victims
(any one can point me out on a mini barbed wire product that I can buy out? I have a hard time finding some, it would help me a lot here!!! thanks!)

Antenocitis Workshop has some barbed wire for sale here.

GW also used to sell barbed wire, but I couldn't find it anymore on their website.

The Stryder base looks very cool atm. I am looking forward to seeing the progress.

I will not recive my other units up till next week, since i don't want to work on stryker yet (big tourney coming soon here in MTL) Ill do one of my stormclad based on the artwork

AT LAST!!! i have recived my barbed wires!!! therefore, the stryder's work has continued. I did not post evolution on the stormclad cause it his almost done so, when i finish the clad, you will have a finish product!


Now, we have stormclad evolution. Im still working on that base but, ccchhh cchhhh chhhhheck it out!

The base looks great, now just finish the Stormstrider in same high standard and you have stunning center piece for your army.
