Been in the hobby for a while, but this is my first tutorial. Figured I'd share my process for making scaled cloaks, which I originally did for my Salamanders Terminator squad.

The end results being:

Hope you folks enjoy it!

Thanks guys! Glad to see my first tutorial went over well

I decided to keep the cloaks kinda short since it was my first go at doing full greenstuff cloaks and I was a bit low on greenstuff. And thanks for the follow Maximus, I'll be updating that guy soon when I finish up some more stuff!

Go for it man. To be honest, this doesn't require much skill, but patience is the issue more so. Not much skill involved in rolling up balls of GS so have at it. The capes weren't too much work, just make a flat bunch of GS and pinch the corners a bit, drape it over and shape it a bit. I do most of the rough edges after it dries and just cut into the cape with an xacto blade.

Edit: Here's my mantles in their current state, some need some touch up but overall they're along where they need to be.
