Cool, I particularly like the paintjob on Njall. The base especially stands out. I think I'll be subbing in some hotter colors for what I have in mind.

You spelt rune wrong.

Other than that, another quality tutorial from you, Cat. If I ever need to do glowy stuff on my Eldar and Menoth I'll try and see if I can do it while changing the colours.

Awesome! If i were to try this on my Necrons, do you think snot green as rune base then highlight scorpion green then add skull white would do the trick?

Thanks guys, Bloodaxegit, I would think that would look very cool, just try it out on a piece of sprue and see how it turns out before you apply it to a model!

Interesting, you use a similar paint scheme for your SW armour as myself...though to be honest, I am suprised that it is not more common, given that it was featured in the 3rd edition SW codex as well as the coresponding WD article.

I like how you start by painting on paper to give viewers a large scale view of building up the highlights; a pitty you didn't have a model available to paint as well.

I'll have to try out the rune method you published when I start back on my SW. Should be fun.

Could this work on outset runes? Like the ones of dwarf armour?
