Someone with a Immortal/Deathmarks + Lychguard/Praetorians kit might be able to answer this.

I was thinking about using the following bits to make some Crypteks:

Lychguard bits: Legs, chest and back.
Praetorian bits: Rod of Covenent.
Deathmark bits: Head.

I'm just not sure if it all would fit together properly and I didn't want to dump the money into it and not be able to do it.

You don't even need the deathmark bits. the Triarch praetorians with their eyes greenstuffed yield the exact head bit you are looking for. There are also two sets of torso backs, and one set of torso fronts in the kit, along with oodles of weapons; specifically, enough to convert to represent each one of the 5 different staves if you know what you are doing.

If you are going to make a royal court, use the lichguard/praetorian kit. It is sufficient.

I

and here you go: if you GS the eyes out, and sculpt a few lines..... you've got a cryptek:

I started making some tonight. I still have to model up a few parts, but as soon as I finish them I will post some pics. Right now I have used:

Deathmark Heads
Deathmark/Immortals legs
Deathmark torso x2
Immortals torso x3
Praetorian Rod of the Covenant x5
Random bitz from Immortal/Deathmark kit and Praetorian/Lychguard

I have modelled up all 5 to have their own unique staff.

So looks like you are on about the same path I am on. Instead of $76.00 you can spend $33.00 and used leftover bits from the Praetorian sprues, (you know you want to make Lychguard anyway...)

No problem. I will do my best to post some pics. I haven't posted any new conversions in months. The modelling opportunities for Necrons have really jump started my motivation.

I will be converting my own models as well from the lychguard/triarchs. My problem is I still don't know what I want to do; 5 crypteks, or 4 and 1 lord, or 5 lords. I am doing them all in a stargate theme so there will be much work to be done to the heads.

If anything, it looks like the crypteks art in the codex. It's good but like plisboy said, not a very big conversion, maybe GS on a tattered cape?

Here is my version as I see we had the same idea. He is my first of 5.

I don't mean to hijack a thread, but I think my question is relevant...
I was trying to find a way to model some 'female' necrons as my crypteks, as the necron seem to have a distinctly masculine appearance, I like the idea of a feminine royal court.

I was thinking of using dark eldar female torsos, and deathmark heads, but I don't know which legs/arms to use to keep them from looking disproportionate. Since you all seem to be pretty savvy at conversion, any help would be appreciated.

Maybe kitting this infinity 'karakuri' with a deathmark head and praetorian arms/weapons?

I too made crypteks using bits. I used leftover deathmark heads from the immortals kit, plus the rod of covenant arms and the weird tail thing from lychgaurd and the body and legs from the warriors. I think that using the smaller body of the warriors keep it in line with their 4+ save. I did however find the lychguard arms to be a bit long, and also did one with the metal arms from the destroyer lord. I like that one best.

Nice conversions! It looks like you got some of the arms from the old metal Lords from way back when.

The gangs all here

HoEternity(Or Lord, and yes thats a goatee), HoTStorm, HoTrans, HoDespair, HoDestruction.

You'd be surprised at what one can do with deathmark/preatorian leftovers, greenstuff and ghost ark passenger assemblies. Even made some snazzy looking wraith(the 'necron' version)
