Hi All

Here are some piccies of my first attempt at painting nurgle. I got Typhus the other day from eBay and had real fun in painting him. In the end I think I lost count on the amounts of layers applied. Started off with basic sicky green base coat and then highlighted a couple of times, washed with a nurgle (as I will call it from now on!) wash to knock everything back down and then edges etc!

As I said a lot of fun for a rather disgusting looking model!

I love the sickly green effect you've created, it gives a sense of malice to the model.

I would say try and highlight him just that little bit more, I think it'll help make him pop!

nice ! although i would think twice when you try something put you don't do it on a special model definetly not typhus.. you're lucky he came out great it could have gone different..

I must add what my deffgames friend allready said, Don't ever start with something very very new unless you are skilled allready on the HQ of your new models, He needs to be awesome, most certainly after a while, you will be wanting to repaint him, to catch up with your (probably way better) Troops and such.

Hi and thanks to the deffgames duo for their advice! I did initially think it may have been a bit 'risky' but I could have always stripped him down and start again!

I would like to add more! I am slowly growing my chaos force, but due to my run of bad luck with 'fine'cast resin models, I'm a wee bit reluctant to get the plaque marines box
