Stopped posting for a bit in order to catch up on assembling minis for the summer (hopefully) rush.

I don't like dullcoat. These are satin sprays. Very Sexay.

Plus, I don't forget which models are sprayed since they shine. (I used to do that a lot).

They look good,how effective are they in game?

They are good in getting smoke templates to block LOS to key assets. And they look good on the table, nice work malf.

Yeah, Deff. They're useful in almost every game I've used them. Most armies that have the
points needed either include them from the start or put them in if there are points for them at
the end.

The target is that mythical 520. I know there are folks who paint faster than that, but I
never have so it'll be a nice milestone to reach and then scale down operations.

Harad Warriors are always fun to paint since you can alternate colors all over the place
and they don't necessarily need any crisp lines. So you can clean up after you apply a
wash, or you can just leave them be.

I tend to just leave them be after a wash.

I'm at least picking up the rulebook at GenCon. I was hoping they'd have a starter
set that I could demo at the store along with the other Warmachine stuff, but I haven't
seen anything that indicates a starter is on the way.

Agreed the monkey men from space are looking good.

I devoted the month of May to building up my models to paint collection. I no longer
find piles of plastic and lead intimidating.

Nah, no prizes. People who sell painted minis probably pass 520 all the time, it's just
a personal goal that I want to try to reach.

The follow up to that goal is that if I hit it, I never want to try again. This is straining
my sanity and my wallet.
