Hello everyone,

Some of you may remember a way back to my old thread about wanting to find a decent model for a female vampire model...well...I decided on the Lhamian from the DE range...and here she is, hope you all like her

Is this model really that terrible no-body else wants to comment and be critical? :/

I'd give it more than two and change hours before you start lamenting, Lazzarus.

Personally, I'm having a bit of trouble seeing the sword and shield bits clearly, but they seem to jive pretty well with the rest of the model. The core looks definitely looks fitting for a female vampire.

The Dreadnote wrote:But the Emperor already has a shrine, in the form of your local Games Workshop. You honour him by sacrificing your money to the plastic effigies of his warriors. In time, your devotion will be rewarded with the gift of having even more effigies to worship.

Sorry...I always forget the rest of the world has different times to us...and needs sleep...

I should be able to get some more pics during the day that are better quality

I like it, kinda has a lil bit of an Anne Rice feel to it.

BTW, some of us post pics for c&c that get 1000 hits and never a "sweet" or "sucks" comment lol.

Its hard to comment on such a dark picture. From what I can see it looks fine, but get some clearer images then you'll get more C &C .

Looks alright so far, likely look better once it's all painted up.

The sword arm looks a bit off - can't quite put my finger on it, but it seems very bulky and a tad to high on the body.

Check out my Warmachine and Malifaux painting blog at http://ik-painter.blogspot.com/

As always, enjoy and have fun!

I deliberately placed it high to hive the impression of thick armour...that's to compensate for the thickness compared to the left arm.

This was originally going to stay as a Dark eldar model for my other half...but bits broke...so I did this and shall buy her a new one

Looks pretty good so far mate. I've also used a Lhamian for one of my VC's. Gotta ask, have you done something to her head or neck? It looks a little off and i cant tell whether its due to something you've tweaked or if its the camera angle.

@Ik-painter, the reason the sword arm looks off i think is because the sword itself is rather big.

Well the sig is just a quote from a comic called "The Goon". But i do have an amusing story about juggling paring knives in my TAFE course that could have ended with someone losing an eye.
