@Gits - If only I was that good at sculpting I would have put a beard on right now. Sadly its tennis shoes, a big chain blade and mummy wrappings over the head

@LDP - This was exactly what I was expecting you never fail to disappoint my man!

Update: metals all finished up not long to go now

Wicked stuff as ever. The rifles on the acolytes looks awesome with the writing.

That ape model is great, where's it from?

Good question bud, I got the model from Graven when I brought some models from him, so I'll leave it up to him to answer that one

Update: next three done

Counts as preist

Counts as Jokaero

Counts as Assassin

Love the piercing blue eyes on Dr. Zeus & the job overall on the assassin. Very nice fig. The Sister Repentia (?) is just too wierd. No negative comment on your painting Knightley, it's just bizarre.

Nice looking figs! I think in this latest batch I like Zaius the best! All these guys would mean even more to me if I knew anything about the Inquisition codex. Beautiful models, though!

Love the way Jokaero count as came out. The Repentia came out so good! I think the Assassin looks like a Japanese anime character, he came out very good, just not my cup of tea for the model.

Great use of the rebreather on the back of the Not-Librarian jokaero. Not sure where I got it from, tbh :(

@Gits - Thanks dude, I guess every henchmen squad needs that one model where you go.. hmmm... not quite sure

@ZG - True, I get the same feeling when I look at Dark Eldar or even some Ork models, If I knew more It would mean so much more

@SW - Cheers, It's good to get feedback such as this

@Mad - Thank you!

@Graven - Gah, here I was hoping you could remember, was it from an old D&D style game?

Update: Last of the Coteaz warband under way!

Very nicely done, although you might want to tell your veteran to not stand so close to the flamer servant. That dude is a gigantic fire hazard !
Really loving the servant's cloth too !

Is that flaming guy a conversion, or is that how the sculpt looks? Either way he's pretty cool (or hot... ).

Sounds good. I could be keen for a couple smallish games (1000-1500?) with fully painted forces on a fully painted table if you're able? I've been meaning to try my hands at a batrep for a good while now.
Great work on the models by the way. Those flames look rich and sinister and the reds are good as ever.

Excellent work on the Priest, Jokaero and assassin.

Good progress on the next batch too. What role is the flamer dude filling on the tabletop?

@SW - Thanks, just three colours and some mixing was all that was required

@KT - Cheers, I've been trying a new method of painting black, up close it looks terrible, but at arms length its not bad

@ZG - He's a metal model from around 2005 if I recall correctly, I got him from a mate who had a large box of guys just sitting there doing nothing.

@LDP - Right'o I'll send you a text when I remember if I forget just send me a poke

@EDC - Thank you! the flamer dude is a flamer acolyte I think, but I could use him as a priest in a pinch.

Update: Models done

Because we’re here,lad...

Great work Knightley. The white on the veterans is fantastic. A nice contrast to the black. Lots of thin layers, or good quality paint?

I love those little moments between the first kiss and the pepper spray...

@KT - Yep, technically I've completed two full squads and two left to go

@Bash - Combination of both, I used the airbrush to put down white onto the armour to make it smooth and uniform, I then put washes in the recesses and tidied it up with white on a brush. It's a change from how I used to do it when I would cover the entire model in wash then paint 4-5 coats of white back over the top.

@Mad - Thanks dude, I put the two squad next to each other and they look amazing

@EDC - Cheers man!

@Graven - I couldn't have done it without you buddy, some of these models have come from you and it gave me the inspiration to flesh them out as a whole.

Update: On to the next retinue for Valeria first group started
